This apartment had the most surreal views! It was lovely and clean and comfortable as well. It’s a shared space but you have your own room and bathroom and the other guests were nice and didn’t disturb us at all. But the reason we rate this place so highly is because of the incredible host, Ludgero. We got in an unfortunate accident on our first day (please drive carefully on the roads) and our host offered to pick us up from the hospital and checked in with us the next day. We were overwhelmed my how kind and thoughtful he was and we had similar experiences with the all the locals we met in Madeira! The nicest people we have ever come across! We definitely recommend staying here, just be cautious with the narrow roads.
