“The staff is exceptional! We stayed in a really large room upstairs. It was great. Just the shower might need remodeling. There is no air conditioner so if you are prone to mosquito bites... you'll definitely be bitten. I would recommend they add a mosquito net around the bed. This location is about a 15 minute walk to downtown, which if you like walking and great weather this should be totally fine. since we did the walk every day we actually ate at local restaurants were so good!! “Beautiful view and very friendly staff. You do have to take a water taxi ($1 and operates 24/7) to the main part of downtown Santa Cruz but the view is worth it! Also it’s across from The Point by Midoro which as an amazing view and food. I would stay there again! ”

“We stayed at Maytenus (Blue house) for 3 nights in the 3 bedroom unit. The place is spacious, safe, quite and comfortable. Patricia and Pablo were very kind and very accommodating to all our requests and also very helpful with the area. This place is only about 15 mins walking distance to Charles Darwin Research Station or into town. If you prefer taking taxi, it's convenient and only $1.50 flat fee to/from anywhere in the area. This place is like home away from home.”
