“Excellent 4 day stay during height of summer at Salty Lodge. Literally steps from the busy Old town, but area is very safe and somewhat quieter. The rooms are pretty spacious for our family of four, with a veranda that looks out/down to the street activity, stores and restaurants. Shower has pretty good water pressure, no shortage of hot water and rooms have comfy beds. We enjoyed the 5th floor rooftop, oh the views! Make sure to it out at sunrise. “We stayed 4 nights in August at the Lagos Atlantic. This boutique hotel of 40 rooms was just what we were looking for in an Algarve beach hotel; excellent breakfast, great pool bar with expert cocktails and a short drive to Porto Mos beach and into Lagos old town. The service was excellent and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They even let us into breakfast early for an early departure to make some take out boxes for the drive to Lisbon. ”

“Great hostel! Yes the rooms would need to be freshened up a little, but for a hostel it exceeded my expectations.
