"The property is located in a wonderful part of Italy, and the interior is beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable, making for a pleasant stay overall. My only challenge was the check-in process. While some arrival information was provided, a few key details were missing. Upon arrival, I tried calling the property several times and also sent messages through the Expedia app, including one a few days before my stay, but I did not receive a response. I ended up waiting about 45 minutes at a nearby bar while trying to figure out how to access the building. In the end, it wasn’t a major issue, but the arrival instructions could be clearer. The main entrance does not provide direct access to the check-in area, and I wasn’t aware that I needed to use one of the intercom buttons to gain entry. Since none were labeled for check-in, I wasn’t sure whether I was contacting a concierge or another guest. Eventually, I chose one and thankfully someone answered and let me in. As a solo traveler arriving in the evening, I could see how this situation might feel stressful or confusing. A simple note explaining which intercom button to use and how to access the building would make the arrival process much smoother for future guests."
