“Everything was great at this lovely property. The staff was exceptional--helpful and friendly. Our water taxi took us directly to the hotel and picked us up for our return to the airport. The property is in a great location. Close to the action, but on a quieter street. I'd definitely stay there again for a return trip. ”

“This just might be the perfect blend between Venice elegance and convenience. The Antico Portego is just down from the canals giving you a rare opportunity to enjoy Venice and not have to climb stairs with your luggage. “First time in Venice, what an interesting place. Our room (Puparin) was so modern, renovated and felt peaceful. King size bed, a bit soft, but comfortable. Tall ceiling wt exposed wood beam. Skylight in the bathroom, which was big in size, same for shower and sick/toilet area! Shower had the rain option or telephone handle, great pressure & continuous hot water. “I LOVED this property. The rooms are in a building that has a historical feel to it. I was super impressed with how clean and quiet my room was. Dealing with jet lag, this was the only room i could sleep with no issues, and I stayed in 4 different hotels during my trip. If you're in doubt, just book it, you won't regret it.”
