Disliked: Check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy
Our stay had serious problems.Location: The listing says beach view and ocean view, but the unit is on sublevel 3, which is underground. There's no view at all. The beach is a 10-minute walk away. The unit is also very noisy because it faces the street.Water Issues: We had no water for 24 hours. We contacted the host via Vrbo and Whatsapp. The building gets water delivered by truck instead of regular plumbing. When the water came back on, it was brown with particles floating in it. We were concerned about using it.The Unit: Some windows don't have screens, so bugs came inside. The apartment showed a lot of wear and tear. There were no basic items like tissues, towels, or a kettle. It was fairly clean but not very well maintained.Communication: The check-in instructions weren't clear. We had to ask multiple times for the WiFi password and other basic information. The host took hours to respond to our messages.The listing didn't match what we got, especially regarding the view and location. The water problem was our biggest concern.
