Great property

We loved our stay here. It was great to be secluded, yet only 15 minutes from wineries, stores etc. Host was quick to respond with any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful stay in the redwoods!

This house is huge and the outdoor space was beautiful and it was the perfect location for a group! Harry was very helpful with the check in process and left us very yummy and local snacks, cheese and wine!

Reunion weekend!

We had such a wonderful time in this home! The hosts were so thoughtful with all the amenities. The house had everything we needed and our group of 10 loved it. The house was in a lovely location and easy to access wineries. The hosts left us a wonderful selection of wine, beer and a delightful spread of goodies. I will definitely recommend this property!

Loved our stay. The place was spacious, clean, and welcoming. Very kind for the host to have some welcome wine and cheese. Close to main areas of Santa Rosa but feels like you're in the redwood forest.

Wonderful Family Time

The house is large with many well appointed rooms so there is plenty for everyone to do either together or alone. The sound system was very good on one end of the house, the Library had a fireplace, tv , plenty of games and a large table for gathering. The landscaping, fire pit and hot tub were fun gathering areas. Great for larger numbers of guests.

Very nice home in a really nice location

Very much enjoyed the stay. Harry, the owner, left an excellent spread of snacks and wine. Harry also was very helpful and was in touch w answers to all of my questions. House has tons of room to hang out. Location is very near restaurants and coffee shops. Thoroughly enjoyed from beginning to end.

Wonderful place to stay with a large group

We really enjoyed our stay here. The home was clean and comfortable. The outdoor spaces were amazing. It was an easy drive to downtown. The host really took care of everything and was very thoughtful. There are many different spaces in the home to spend time in and was perfect for a large group. I would absolutely come back.

Amazing Oasis

One of my best experiences with VRBO. The house was perfect for our group of 10. The back yard is stunning and the perfect place to enjoy time with your group. The hosts were great and even left us a full spread of local treats upon arrival. I would come back in a heartbeat.

Harry was a wonderful host. The house is absolutely gorgeous in a wonderful location. The highlight is the backyard and hot tub. You feel as though you’re all alone in a forest. The house has everything you need to be comfortable.

Relaxing getaway!

Enjoyable, cozy, nature home. Lots of space to socialize and enjoy time with friends. Above and beyond host and amenities, with personal touches. Comfortable beds. Lights were difficult to figure out with too many motion sensors throughout the house. Many stairs to the main level. Would def rent again! A+.

Lovely Property, Great Host.

We had an amazing time at Harry’s estate. The property was more grand in person than it looked in pictures. There was every amenity that we could imagine and more. Harry was very easy to get in touch with and responded promptly when we had questions. The gifts and thoughtfulness went well beyond what we expected. This was our best experience with VRBO yet. We would definitely rent this place again.

Great work retreat location

The house was amazing for our office team retreat and provided plenty of space for us to hang out and chat both inside and out. There were plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms and the kitchen was just enough for us to cook all of the group meals needed. Harry was amazing with giving us the property details ahead of time and was an amazing host throughout our stay. The outside deck area was amazing to enjoy the nice weather on and all of the trees made it feel like we were secluded away in the mountains but with the convenience of being relatively close to groceries and stores.

Redwoods Hideaway

Perfect spot for weekend in wine country or just relaxing in comfort. A great house for family gatherings with thoughtful owners who make everything welcoming and easy to find. It is in a residential area, with neighbors who apparently object to noise that isn’t of their own making. But moving inside to spacious living room and game room is a great alternative. Loved our time here!

Overall an amazing place to rent and relax. Amenities are awesome! Host was very generous in giving us a few items to consume. One small thing about the neighbors. They don’t like noise one bit. Not sure why they would call in noise complaints when our noise level were at a minimum. Not a reason to ding this rental down on a negative review. Thank you for the stay. Girl’s Weekend

We were there for my birthday weekend/girls weekend, there was 8 of us, there was more than enough room for everyone to be comfortable in their own bed (2 ladies shared a King). The house and property is absolutely gorgeous, the host has about every amenity you would want from a charcuterie, snack tray with wine and beer, as well as coffee and creamer. There was shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the bathrooms. We got to enjoy the Jacuzzi both nights and one night around the fire pit, but we wish we had the whole two days just at the property because that would’ve been amazing but we had tours scheduled so we were not there during the day. We will definitely stay there again in the future, and just have our food and wine at the property to enjoy it. Our host was very accommodating, and we loved everything, thank you so much.

60th Birthday Celebration

We had a wonderful time during the long President’s Day weekend at the Wine Country Redwood Estate. This place is nothing short of incredible. It’s very large with several nice spaces for friends and family to stretch out and enjoy the nice accommodations. The house is clean and Harry the owner has everything marked clearly. He has thought of everything, so you really do not need to bring anything with you. Harry made a point to ask us the type of wine and beer we liked, and then had a very nice welcome package for us on arrival. A few bottles of wine, 2 six packs of beer and an excellent charcuterie board with high end cheese, meat and crackers. It rained most of the time we were there so we could not enjoy the yard and deck, but we could tell the outside areas were well maintained. Harry was always on the ball with communications, and you can tell he really cares about your visit. The location is great, it seems we were never more than 30 minutes from any place we wanted to go in Sonoma and Calistoga. We cannot recommend this property and owner highly enough, you will definitely not be disappointed. If we ever make it back to wine country we will try to stay here.

Best experience we have had at a VRBO

Top-notch vacation rental experience, wonderful property and host This was possibly the best vacation rental I've experienced. While the interior is dated, it is all incredibly well kept-up and clean; and it quickly felt cozy, warm, and easy to enjoy all corners of this rental's interior. We had a group of 8, 6 of whom were couples, and there was never a moment when it felt crowded inside. On top of the interior feeling quite comfortable from a perspective of layout and cleanliness the lighting and signage was exceptional. Everything is labeled. On top of that most of the general area lighting is on motion sensors. There was never any fumbling for light switches or which drawer or cabinet the item we wanted was behind. It is clear the host has gone through a great deal of thought and effort to make this property especially easy for visitors to use. And finally there's the backyard. I don't want to oversell it but for once I think the real life experience exceeds what the photos portray. It is clear that both the landscape architect and the contractor who produced this decking made exceptional effort to maintain every inch of natural space possible while creating an expansive, comfortable deck area for us to truly chill out in. I would rent here again just to spend more time in the backyard. 10/10 Amazing experience

The house was perfect for our wine region weekend friends gathering. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of indoor and outdoor space for a group to relax and enjoy the amenities. The manager treated us to a generous assortment of treats - wines, cheeses, fruit and snacks, and supplied all helpful pantry items. The property could benefit from an update in the TV setup, but was otherwise a great place to stay.
