“The place itself is very beautiful. We had a nice breakfast and got to see the butterfly garden. My kids enjoyed it a lot.”

“They just finished painting the pool edge...looks great. This is our 3 year at the Trapp Family Inn. The only thing that was different was it was warmer than usually in San Jose than in previous years. The rooms were definitely warmer, but we were glad we had ceiling fans. Service, Food, and hospitality were great. We'll be BACK!”

Many choices on Free Breakfast menu, and food is very good. “I enjoyed the fire pit and the jacuzzi, just a little bothered with the hot water going out and we had to use cold water. The farm animals were lovely especial the baby donkey”

“I stayed here when I flew into San Jose. It's close to the airport, it's in a safe gated neighborhood. Dinner is available, breakfast is included. I will stay here again when I depart Costa Rica.”

“Gorgeous and unique property close to the Poas Nacional Park. The views were breathtakingly beautiful! We stayed in the Junior Dome and had a relaxing and zen like stay. The property was very cute and quiet in June. There was a nearby dog barking nonstop from a neighbor but not much you can do about that.”

“We chose the hotel for it's convenient location in the city of Orotina , where we were visiting relatives . The staff was good , perhaps a little inattentive on check out. The reception office was closed and I had to look around for someone to return my key. Be advice there's is a very noisy soccer academy right next door . We were alocated on room 11 , close to the academy . It can be an issue if you are trying to rest early evening .”

“Margarita was a wonderful host! Very friendly and gave us great recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was very good and plentiful. It’s very quiet and relaxing because it’s not on the main road where you can hear all the road noise! I would recommend a stay if you want old school charm and hospitality.”

“The location was beautiful. The rooms are VERY large. I was not aware that the room did not have a/c or fan (but I did not read the details, I just assumed it did because of the pricing) the weather was not super hot this day so it was ok, but on a warmer day it definetly needs it, also no TV at least in our room, the bathroom had some leaking in the shower. The beds and pillows were ok. Maybe we just assumed beacuse of the price that it would be a little more premium. But the experience was Ok……
