“good”

“We stayed three night in August 2021. This hotel is very close to marina, well maintained and comfortable. Room is spacious with nice bathroom. Staff are friendly and helpful. There is a roof top swimming pool. It is convenient walking to downtown in 10-15 minutes. Breakfast is not included but I paid 9.5 euro for breakfast. The only reason I gave four star is due to its price, otherwise I will give 5 star.”

“It was tidy place, but cockroaches. I guess theres not much you can do considering the country we were in. When we walked in to the unit, the entire unit smelt like cleaning product which lasted over a day and it bothered me a bit. Having working stove, microwave and sink was handy! Power goes out if you use stove and microwave at the same time though. It was hard rocommunicate with the host unless you walk in to the check in office. I tried to reply their email, it bounced back as it is……

“A nice place. Relatively close to the Lagos centre, maybe a 15 minute walk. There is parking, but it's a bit of a tight squeeze. We ended up parking elsewhere in the area because getting the car in and out was a hassle with a rental. Big balcony area. Updated kitchen. Access to the pool, but we did not end up using it. The company provided a lot of helpful information during check-in, with lots of videos. This was helpful in actually getting into the building.”

“Strong smell”

“I liked that it was close enough to the downtown part of Lagos. I didn't care for the cottage much. We booked it since the rate was good and it had a stove. Turns out, the stove didn't really work. It had one weak burner you couldn't do much with. We contacted the management company and there was zero response. We finally figured out a way to make another burner work, but it's a vacation and I shouldn't have to play detective. The set up of the cottage was also very strange. Two really……

“the apartment is dirty. we came to check-in at 4 p.m. and the cleaning lady was still there. we had to wait 1 hour on the terrace before entering the apartment. the toilet was leaking and it was very small. poorly designed. I advise against staying there.”

“Unacceptable, recommend avoiding. The office staff were friendly in person but absolutely zero response to our communication via WhatsApp, email or the Expedia app which we booked through. So we couldn’t confirm check in time and location, if we could store bags, or have any of the issues below addressed. Also refused partial refund. For the amount we paid for a less than 24 hour stay, would have been better if we just stayed at a hostel. Broken shower fixture and the bed head fell down off……

“L’unica cosa buona che ha la struttura è la posizione, per il resto è stato tutto deludente: il letto di mio figlio (una brandina con un materasso di 5 cm) era senza lenzuola e abbiamo dovuto farcele portare dopo che ci siamo lamentati, mobili rotti, tende stracciate, in cucina le pentole erano inguardabili, consumate al punto che era impensabile prepararci dentro qualcosa, nessun tipo di dotazione minima in cucina, il divano era evidentemente rotto. É un vero peccato perché l’appartamento è……

“Lovely new and modern hotel in a lovely spot in the old town. Room was beautiful and spotless, Lovely rooftop pool with loungers to relax on Breakfast served to you and was excellent, best eggs Benedict ever, nothing too much trouble.”

“The resort location is near to the train station. It is convenient and the environment is very comfortable. The resort is very good for relaxation. One thing is needed to improve is lack of staff to manager the swimming pool.”
