“Der check in war wunderbar, mir wurde alles ausführlich und sehr freundlich erklärt (das erfahre ich so eher selten) . Die Gegend hat wohl auch ein bisschen was zu bieten, leider kam ich nicht zum erkunden. Die Unterkunft ist geräumig und sauber gewesen, man hatte alles was das Herz begehrt. Das ganz schwache Licht im Bad wenn man nachts auf die Toilette muss fand ich total angenehm. Der Frühstückskorb ist praktisch, wenn man möchte muss man nur noch Aufschnitt einkaufen. “Communicated a number of issues with my one night stay to Hotels.com and the property did not respond to these issues.
Issues mainly around the following:
numerous large dirty carpet stains throughout apartment;
toiletries of previous guests in bathroom (including toothpaste, shower gel, deodorant and hair spray);
cardboard and sticky tape used to secure pipes in bathroom;
various damage to furnishing including hole in blind and faulty blinds which could not be pulled up;

“Lovely new property - had everything you needed and very spacious. Only thing was we couldn’t find instructions for the cooker and to put the hot water on but we nipped over to reception and they were helpful (with the hot water and we worked out the cooker!!). “The modern kitchen, beautiful grounds and historic stairways and rooms were so clean and comfortable for us. I was impressed because it’s not easy to keep such an old property in such a clean condition! I even had a bath one night. We loved exploring the woods and small stream around the house as well as getting out to other spots around Scotland. The house was out of the way but easily accessible even for those used to driving on the other side of the road! Loved our time here. Only downside……
