We did not go to the pool. Great location… just needs some curtains or blinds in the living room. Clean and nicely decorated

Savannah Getaway

Awesome location. Beautiful space. Wished there were some initial ammenities available like coffee, washer powder, and water. Excellent communication with VRBO offices with issues that arose. I would definitely stay there again.

Great place!

Nice location, decor, and overall layout. Found everything clean upon arrival. I would recommend a small drain rack for washing dishes, other than that we had everything we needed.

Great location

Apartment was very comfortable and in the middle of everything! Building door wasn’t user friendly and parking is a few blocks away. You will hear street noise , it’s in the heart of tourist area, but it is a very comfortable, nicely decorated and clean apartment.

Elevator

Continuous unpredictable working elevator from the first floor. One of us had to go upstairs to “activate” the elevator to come to first floor in order to load our luggage. Happened several times over 3 days. Would also suggest better lighting at awning during night.

Girls trip

This was a great little apartment for me and my 3 teenage daughters and niece that is my age we had plenty of room to move around and hang out. It was very clean with awesome appliances in the kitchen and the laundry closet. In a great location for shopping in small business. The only thing that we had a issue with was parking. You have to pay to park from 8am. to 8pm. Most of that time the street parking is full so it can be hard to find a parking spot. It is also a short drive to Tybee Island which is beautiful just like Savannah. We all had so much fun that we didn't want to leave. It was like home away from home. Great place!!!!!

Have a Plan B

24 hours before we were to arrive in Savannah we were told our unit wasn’t available the first night. So make a plan B if you book this location. It was very disappointing and inconvenient. Once in the unit it was a very noisy location with the bar on the street below us and people yellling. The unit was LOVELY and my rating would have been very different if they hadn’t cancelled our reservation (that we had paid for well in advance) 24 hours before arrival.

Visited for long weekend

Fantastic location! Many shops and restaurants surround it. Quick walk to city market and the river. Great for those who want to explore Savannah on foot. The main door to the building is kinda finicky but once you figure it out it’s fine. It’s in the city so a little city noise is to be expected, but it wasn’t bad at all. Apartment was very nice and clean and location felt very safe. It looks recently updated but still has historical charm too. We didn’t use the kitchen much but it had all the basics plus some. Only complaint- The water pressure in the shower is horrible (took FOREVER to wash and rinse long hair) but everything else was so great that we would definitely stay again. Big windows are great for people watching on the streets below. The inclusion of the parking spot in the garage was great! I highly recommend this apartment!

Broughton St Retreat

The unit was just as it describes. It was very clean upon our arrival. Did not come stocked with too many items, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The front door to the unit took some time getting used to. Would not open on first try...ever! The location can't be beat for walking to anything in Savannah. Right in the heart of it all. The road noise was pretty bad some night. It sounded like every stereo thumping race car revving loud motorcycle in Savannah was racing up and down the street all night. I would highly recommend this unit and this company to anyone who wants to be in the center of it all and doesn't mind some noise at night.

Property overpriced and needs serious maintenance. Renting a place with broken windows and unsecure doors is unacceptable. Hallways and stairwells are incredibly filthy!

Great Location

The locations is central to everything we wanted to do. The one problem is all the construction that was not conveyed to us upon booking this property. Because of the construction there was no place to stop and unload/load our two vehicles. The check in process was amazingly simple and the apartment was exceptionally clean. I wished they could have left a broom or small vacuum for us to use as we visit the beach on Tybee Island and brought home a bunch of sand on our shoes with no way to clean up. The amenities in the apartment were fair. The internet never worked, and the TV would only change channels in one room. The directions that were left for the parking of one car in the parking garage were not clear and very confusing. The location of the parking garage was excellent. I also think that this should be listed as sleeping only 5 adults and not six. There are two bedrooms with queen-sized beds, but the couch does not pull out so only one person would fit on the couch. The water in the kitchen sink was less than a dribble and when I was contact about any issues I respond with that and there was no reply.

Loved this property! Right in downtown savannah, could walk to so many places! The only thing that was a little misleading is the pool is not onsite, it is on Tybee Island 30 minutes away.

Our stay at Broughton Retreat

We were very suprised ther was no light in the hallway and you could not see to enter the code on the door adn it was very unsafe to be standing out there in the dark. Also no toilet paper at all in the place even though it says on the many emails I reveived how that was one of the items stocked in the room to get us started.The washer did not work..One of the reason I chose this room was no stairs other was we could wash clothes.. we did not get to wash anything. It also needs to be added to the web site this location is very load all night so if you need to sleep or have small children like I do dont stay here. There is yelling and loud cars all nigth right outside. You can even hear your neighbors thru the walls all nigth. We got no sleep but worse my 4 year old was uanble to sleep.The towels were not in the bathroom but left in the drier so was not sure if they were just thrown in there from last guest of if they were clean since washer did not work... Will not stay here again.

Great Location

Perfect for our first time in Savannah! Location was fantastic. Close to everything. Very clean, comfortable beds. Some traffic noise but nothing horrible. Some noise from the bar below on the first night (Saturday) but nothing afterwards. Would definitely stay will Southern Belle again.

Post-Christmas visit to Savannah

My daughters and I had a wonderful stay! The property is perfectly located to walk anywhere in downtown Savannah. It has great views of Broughton street and all amenities you would need.

If you're looking for a place to stay in historic Savannah this is the place. Great location. Walking distance to many shops, dining, and parks. I would definitely recommend Southern Belle vacation rentals.

Nice stay downtown

Upstairs apartment with lots of character. Just off Broughton so easy to walk everywhere. Well furnished. Beds comfortable. Be prepared for loud music late at night on weekend nights from the bar downstairs.
