「I never got to check into my room because the power was out from the storm. I didn't get to stay there and had to go find another hotel that did have power so I could check in and have a place to stay for the night 」

Upon arriving late after a long road trip, the front desk was disorganized and even asked if I had "already checked in," causing a 15-minute delay for no reason. I had specifically pre-purchased breakfast and confirmed the hours with the front desk, who stated it ended at 10:30 AM. However, when I arrived with my family...

「I booked a room from the road but when I arrived, the room was totally unacceptable. The room I was given was nowhere close to the description and pictures shown on the website. We only opened the door and did not take anything into the room...we could not stay in this room. The room had a cracked window, no functioning electrical outlets, damaged tiles around the tub, holes in the wall, and the room had a bad smell.」

「The location was close to the freeway, with easy on- and off-access. However, this is an industrial area. The hotel room was very dirty, with large stains and dirt on the couch, stains on the bedspread and top sheet, and the top bed sheet was so worn that the threads were bare. There was a ring around the tub and no bath towels. there were two hand towels, and one wash rag, and one of the hand towels was dirty. we did not feel that this hotel was very safe as the side entrance door was blocked...

「Clean but pool was under construction and I wasn't allowed to get my money back to change hotels because I went through Expedia. Only reason I picked this hotel was because of the pictures of the pool and my kids couldn't use it.」
