Perfect for us!

Nice, new, clean and simple stay just a short walk from town. The perfect distance away from the action of town for a peaceful and quiet retreat. Access three nearby beaches by foot, short walk to delicious coffee and food. Friendly neighborhood. Highly recommend.

Nice place to stay

A little away from the action, but that makes it nice and quiet. It's about 10 min from the main square. Accommodation was good. The place was clean and comfortable.

Beautiful property

Great location, short walk to the beach, and close to the Plaza for shopping and dining. Go to the rooftop at night, you can see the stars so clearly, no light pollution. The pool was great, too. Will definitely stay at the Florence again.

Best worlds of Sayulita

I called it the best worlds of Sayulita because of the location. Every morning my husband and I went up to the patio to drink our coffee. From the huge patio you can see the town of Sayulita and the jungle.

Loved the rooftop

The property was clean, friendly staff, nice shower, but needs more cooking pots/ salad bowl etc. in room, stove top burner or hot plate would have been perfect as we like to cook!

Great place

A little bit out of town but if you dont a small uphill walk its great! Eldely people or parents with young kids may want a golf cart. Its worth the climb!

Close but not too close

Nice property, a short walk to beaches and in town amenities, just far enough away to be nice and quiet. Our unit didn’t have a kitchen only a small fridge and sink. Would have liked a little more in there. A small investment in the kitchen area would improve that. Sayulita doesn’t have great grocery shopping so getting food to prepare isn’t very convenient, be prepared to eat out a lot. Note we stayed in a one bed sleeps three unit. Tony and staff were great. Really enjoyed our stay. The pool was a little cool

Spring Break in Sayulita

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was basic but all that we needed. Tony was very responsive and helpful, carrying my suitcase upstairs and bringing us a hot plate and fresh towels. The bed was very comfortable, nice hot showers, quiet for sleeping. Rooftop was delightful for bird-watching. Downside-the bathroom window crank was stripped so there was no way to shut out the barking of a neighbor dog, the pool was chilly.

Great location away from noise

We loved our stay here. The location is a few minutes walk from the main square so it was quiet at night. It’s also a quick walk to Playa de Los Muertos which we enjoyed more than the main beach. We spent a lot of time on the rooftop reading books, which was very peaceful. My only request for the rooftop is to add a couple hammocks- I kept wishing I could take a midday siesta in between chapters while reading. The room was mostly great for our needs, I wish the single occupancy rooms had a stovetop to use so we could make breakfast in the room, but Yah Yah cafe is close by, so it wasn’t too inconvenient The pool area is great!

I had a great stay. The location was perfect for me, close to town and beaches but just the right distance that it is quiet at night! Even had the chance to meet the owners and found we had a lot in common. I will book here again!

Great stay at Florence Sayulita

Tony and Maria were excellent hosts. They were friendly, very responsive and helpful in making our ten-day stay as pleasant as possible. We will happily return in the future.The property is located up the hill and away from the busy, noisy town centre and still a short, manageable walk. We enjoyed the rooftop every morning and watched the sunset from there as well. It is easy to get to some of the less frequented beaches around the point (Punta Sayulita) from the property. We felt safe and enjoyed exploring the area.

Quiet oasis near center of town

Simple but Beautiful property very close to the center of town but far enough that it's quiet at night. Unit was very clean and had all of the basics. The property manager was super responsive and kind and let us have a very late check out time. Thank you!

One Hill of a Stay

The property was as described. Tony was quick to respond the couple of times I messaged him on WhatsApp. Location was quiet because it was away from downtown. We chose to walk, so our legs have never been more fit lol. Rent a cart if you have mobility issues. We used the rooftop patio kitchen a few times which is a great space but the stove and bbq struggled to reach a suitable temperature. Overall, we were quite happy with our stay.

Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff constantly maintained the space, which was beautifully kept. Our room was as expected but quite bare-bones and had brutal Wifi reception. The bed was definitely not a queen—it was smaller, as evidenced by the large gaps between the nightstands and the mattress. It barely fit me (5’2”) and my partner (6’5”), making it a very cozy experience. The shower flooded due to a design flaw, but adjusting the shower head to the corner helped minimize the issue. While towels were provided, they smelled musty/old, and the bedding had noticeable stains, including what looked like red nail polish or lipstick. There were only two euro-sized pillows with poor support, mismatched throw pillows we ended up using, and a throw blanket with visible bleach stains. The pool was beautiful but didn’t get any sunlight during our late-November stay, so keep that in mind. However, the rooftop patio was a highlight—we spent most of our time there watching the sunset. The walk to the property is steep, so be mindful of that. We highly recommend checking out Yah Yahs and Sur 38 (we went to Sur 38 three times!). Overall, this is a solid, budget-friendly option. While the linens and bed situation were challenging for me (admittedly due to my OCD), the property was quiet, the staff were pleasant, and it had everything you really need!
