「位置就在海邊，可惜我們訂了海景房，但飯店有在施工，窗外都是鷹架很影響觀感，而且室內燈光太暗了。 但整體人員都很親切、服務很好。」

「Was a little apprehensive when reading reviews but it was ok for an old building needs some TLC a Little out dated staff friendly. Room was ok booked an executive family room but not that executive would have been nice if breakfast was included with the price.The building is lovely inside good views over Scarborough. Beds were clean, only thing missing in room was a phone to contact reception it will keep you fit walking up and down the stairs if you don’t like lifts .」

「Shocking hotel! The room was filthy and in a really bad state of repair. We refused to stay in the first room they gave us which was in the roof space. I don't understand how hotels are allowed to operate like this. If it was a restaurant they would be shut down by the foog hygiene agency. It ruined our weekend. I will be emailing the hotel directly with photos of the room. Would the owners stay in these rooms? I think not. Even the grand staircases are filthy.」

「The location is good as well as the service. The breakfast is really tastey. The lady who served our breakfast is really nice and even made me a takeway breakfast when I told her my train would be very early and would miss the breakfast. 」

「Good location and just outside Whitby town with easily accessible bus stops. Free car parking for guest. Food typical chain and overpriced and under taste. Room decent size but no lounging chairs. Tv not smart and too small. No fridge. Bed very uncomfortable. Shower over bath and shower curtain. Not for me.」

「Staff are really great and friendly! The room we stayed is near the alley which is noisy during the night that we couldn’t sleep well. And the pillows are flat that are not comfortable. 」

「Furniture and fittings very antiquated. Bedding very old and worn, bed linen did not look clean and fresh. Bathroom shower looks as if mould growing around base, not hot water to the basin, towels very worn and ruff. Breakfast very poor, left on landing to help yourself, cereal and fruit only not worth the payment charged. Parking not easy and very limited particularly for the larger car. Expedia stated only one room left that clearly was not the situation. Definitely not value for money.」
