"Absolutely beautiful cottage and wonderful pub "

"Lots of negativity about this Hotel Our experience was Very good Check-in Swift hall Reception downstairs areas Magnificent Staircase Ladings upto 1st floor all new carpets Clean room was great clean superb shower room Staff we're Fantastic Really Helpful and friendly Yes parts of hotel bit Shabby/need updating which is a huge task giving Size of the building but work ongoing in smartining it up Only real moan the fantastic balcony overlooking the sea front (Smoking Area) could do with pressue washing sooner rather than later and add few more Bins Just booked for next year going to be interesting to see the changes and upgrades they doing "

"The room was lovely,the staff were brilliant and chef was so accommodating for my allergies and very keen to ensure correct measures were made. Food and pudding were amazing! Family room was big, one single bed very springy however. Breakfast was ok but not the best selection. Eggs were made to order but wasnt asked about my allergies on this order just that he would ask the chef to make fresh. Staff all very friendly. Walls were a little think so could hear a dog barking all night and next door snoring. But 100% stay here again. Lovely setting. Fab menu. Lovely cosey bar. "

"For the price we paid, this was excellent! The hotel is stunning when you walk in, the rooms were nicely decorated, if a little grubby but we weren’t expecting 5*. The beds were really comfy. I’m not sure what the rooms would be like in summer as there was no heating or air conditioning and windows didn’t open much. The bars ares were excellent too! Staff were really nice, didn’t seem the best trained in hospitality, which surprised me for a Britannia Hotel but still, we weren’t put off - maybe some staff had called in sick and they were covering? We’d definitely return. "

"The rooms are very tired even the info in the room are dated telling you if you want to call reception dail 0 there are no phobes innthe room wifi is very poor the choice of meals in the bar/restaurant is very limited it was also cold "

"The breakfasts were to die for and reasonably priced too, on street parking near by, staff were all very polite and friendly "

"Quality modern accommodation. We rebooked a second night as we enjoyed it so much. Staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a lovely pub next door (part of the hotel) which has a great atmosphere, serves lovely food, drinks and even has a soft play area. There is a park opposite the accommodation and a supermarket 50rds on the same road. We will definitely be booking again. Thankyou for looking after us 😊 ! "

"Jacuzzi was out of order and pool cold due to broken pump. No complimentary breakfast or discount was given. Very disappointed as only booked that hotel over others for facilities and they were unavailable. 30 minute walk to get to the main attractions"

"Leaking radiator in bathroom, when reception were told, someone came to repair but it ended up being worse. Mattresses weren’t comfortable which made for a sleepless night. Could hear everything from the corridors"
