「We had a great time at this hotel. We were there 2 nights and it was very easy to get in the car and see all of Isle of Sky from there. The property was under some construction but they did a good job of keeping it mostly away from the rest of the hotel. 「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「Main issue with the property is it’s location, the state of the access road which is narrow and full of pot holes and some of the rooms. They gave us a room in the attic which was more like a closet turned into a room. The bed was small and not comfortable. We were jet lagged and woke up late so couldn’t try the breakfast, but we did try the bar which was good but overpriced.」
