“Our family (with three teenagers and a dog) stayed here for a few days in the October holidays. The house was very clean and well equipped and really comfortable. We loved the easy walking options from beautiful St Abbs, on the Berwickshire coastal paths and we satisfied everyone’s requirements inc gym junkie (Eyemouth leisure centre) to Harry Styles video recreation (St Abbs) to board games and pumpkin patch foraging and ball throwing on the beach for our furry family member. “The property is a beautiful historic home with fun trap doors and hiding places from the original owner's tea smuggling days. It has a wonderful open living and dining area with an expansive view of the town of Eyemouth. We had easy access to restaurants in town (we watched the fresh fish delivered daily), scenic hiking trails and the golf course on the hill behind the house. We also spent a day surfing in Coldingham Bay only a stone's through away. The first floor of the property is often used……

“Great location and very modern. I like a traditional feel more than the modern but it had everything one needed. However, there was less than 1 role of toilet paper between both bathrooms combined and no soap or shampoo, napkins, paper towels, dish brushes or clothes wash so come prepared. Also, the garbage outside was filled to overflowing before we arrived and we were unable to clean up our kitchen. Apparently, per the neighbor, this is an ongoing problem. The beds were a little uncomfortable.……
