Excellent location and very clean and comfortable

The home is superb -- easy access from CA1, clean, one-story, nice views of the Sea Ranch meadow and cypresses toward the ocean. And easy access to Gualala and Pt. Arena, that are both well well worth visiting.

Great for a solo getaway

I enjoyed a long weekend with my dog in this quaint home in a great location. Several easy access points to the coastal trail. The house had a few cleanliness issues but overall, it was a good experience.

Overpriced for Sea Ranch rental

Location and Sea Ranch. We have been renting at Sea Ranch for 30 years and have always had a welcoming home for our week vacation.

We enjoyed staying at this house. Overall, it was a very good property, especially compared to other Vacasa properties we've stayed at in the past. The location is good - it's a very short walk to the trail and we saw lots of wildlife, just sitting in the dining room or living room. The place had most of what we needed but was missing a few items in the kitchen, such as rubber spatulas and a few more large bowls (the wooden bowls didn't seem to clean well so we didn't use those). The bedframe in the master bedroom makes noise anytime you move in bed and the mattress is very hard - I think that it's probably time for a new bed. We didn't end up using the hottub (maybe next time). We came with our dogs to escape the fireworks and were mostly successful, although we did hear a couple of booms on 7/4 (but I'm guessing that the security patrol were on whoever was breaking the rules - we've been here before on 7/4 and never heard any).

some problems found. - smoke alarm was pulled out of the wall - hole in the screen in the front window - fan in the attached bathroom didn't work - toiliet in the attached bathroom sometimes stuck and the tank didn't fill. Just needed a bump to get it to go. probably WD-40 would fix it. Nice location, easy access to Gualala

Nice Place to enjoy Sea Ranch

If you are looking for a smaller house to rent in Sea Ranch. Consider Whispeing Wave. It is perfect for four people and a canine friend. The Bluff Trail is just a five minute walk from the house, We love watching the deer come and go. The town of Gualala is just a short drive away, All in all a great cozy getaway to experience the beauty for Sea Ranch.

Nice place, great for a family

We had a great time at this rental, with a cute little 2 person hot tub and the ability to bring our pooches. There were 4 of us plus the dogs and we enjoyed our time at Sea Ranch, with nice walks on the beaches and beautiful sunsets. The cabin was clean and managed well and had everything we needed to make meals and enjoy ourselves. I think the common room was a perfect size for relaxing with the family. A couple of foxes and their kits lived across the street in some bushes and they would come by on occasion. Deer were everywhere and 2 racoons came by the back porch at night to say hi as I was trying to set up my telescope. They definitely got my attention :). Finally, I left my work laptop there which I cannot live without and was able to successfully recover it because the management company found it and kept it safe. This means a lot to me and I very much appreciate their help in this! All in all, it was a great trip with some good memories.

Dirty dishes

The dishes in the cabinet had particles of dried food on them, the dishwasher does not clean. There was food in the bottom of the dishwasher the first time we tried to use it. After we checked out I called and complained about it to the receptionist who laughed. I did not find having to soak and wash all the "Clean" dishes amusing. Dirty under the beds and the lint filter in the dryer was full.

Comfortable, clean and bright

Perfect little house for 2 people plus a pup. Clean and bright. Quiet with a small patio on overlooking meadow behind the house. Plenty of towels and kitchen gear. Comfortable beds. Washer and dryer were handy and the hot water was hot! Would definitely return.

Relaxing Weekend

1. Extremely clean 2. Great location - a short walk to coast trail for epic morning and evening dog walks 3. Wonderful natural light - sunny and bright, made even lounging on deck and in living room a peaceful activity. Also loved the peekaboo ocean views and sound of the ocean.

Great location

The location is great, close to walking trails. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in the unit. On the flip side the dishwasher is falling apart a bit, the mattress in the main bedroom is worn out. The shower still leaks as mentioned in previous reviews. We found some surprises under the sofa and while looking for electrical outlets, a thorough cleaning is needed. Management is poor. After scribbling on our paperwork what looked like 11 am check out, we found out last minute check out is at 10 am. We were not given the courtesy of a 11 am checkout, "not possible". 3 hours later no cleaners had touched the house.

Wonderful 2 bed 2 bath

I booked this place to spend time with my parents. They are retired so this place was perfect. I worked during the day ( the internet was great, no issues) and they were able to walk the bluff trails, go to the pool and read their books by the fire. The chairs in the living room are really comfy. Couch is a bit old and a bit uncomfortable but does the trick. Kitchen is very well equipped. My mom loves to cook and had everything she needed. We even made pizza. Highly recommend a hot tub under the stars and moon. Sea Ranch is a magical little community.

Perfect place!

Relaxing 5 Night Stay

The house was in a great location, a short walk to the Bluff Trail and Gualala Point Park. It also backed up to the golf course, which was convenient since we played golf twice. We brought our 2 dogs, and the 4 of us enjoyed numerous walks. The hot tub was nicely maintained and added bonus. We highly recommend this house!

Great Place

This is our second time staying here. It is the perfect house for two people, Very comfortable. My husband and I like its proximity to Gualala and the fact that you can walk to the state park from the house along the coastal bluff trail. Love watching all the deer in the meadow in the backyard. We will return in the fall.

the house was simple and filled with light, easy access to bluff, very close to 18th hole of golf course FYI so if you are sitting in hot tub during the day you see the golfers
