“I stayed in this gorgeous cottage/annex for one month. It is furnished to a very high standard and is probably the nicest place I have ever stayed for comfort, cleanliness and having every imaginable appliance in the kitchen.Everything is done with great care, the welcome hamper full of goodies, fresh flowers on the table., books, magazines, extra towels in the bathroom. Lovely bathroom with a super shower. Spring flowers emerging in the garden, beautiful location in the Elham Valley area with……

“In a great central location, plenty shops, places to eat, pubs all around and very quick walk to the coast which was beautiful, didn’t realise Folkestone was so nice! Outside building looked very nice, access lobby area clean and inviting. Great shower! (good water pressure!)Apartment was compact but had everything needed. Was a hot weekend so needed to open the windows overnight, could hear people enjoying themselves which wasn’t a problem for us. Some parts of the apartment were tired but……

“This garage conversion has been thoughtfully and cleverly set up. The location is excellent for the beach and under 10 mins walk to the town’s shops and restaurants. Good and clever little kitchen set up with more than you are likely to use (e.g. small air fryer and twin hot plates). Excellent shower.”

“The perfect place for a short quiet relaxing break. Lovely views great from getting away from it all. Friendly hosts. Wine and cake a nice touch!”

“Please be aware that you need to upload a passport online to a third party company for every person over 16 that is staying at the property. We were not aware of this until after the free cancellation period was over. There is no mention in the listing or confirmation that the passport would be the only document accepted. We were uncomfortable doing this with all the online identity theft that is prevalent today. The communication with the property was poor. We messaged several times through……

“Lovely property Roy was communicative and helpful ”

“A wonderful cosy, quirky cottage, deep in the Kent countryside. Ideal location for walking dog owners, a couple looking for a romantic break or friends. Perfect for a short winter break. Lovely log burner. Relaxing and peaceful. A word of warning, very steep stairs. Felt like we were on a boat at times as the floors upstairs slope so much. This place has real character though and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, seeing the New Year in. Highly recommend.”

“Basic, but fine if you want to stay close to the ferry.”

“Amount of things supplied, didn't really need half the stuff we took. Excellent flat. Well equipped. Nice set up. Bonus bottle of wine. Lovely views. Apart from stairs everything was perfect, even stairs I coped with. Can't praise it enough.”

“This place is ideally located opposite seafront. Easy to get around by car and public transport. Clean place with amenities and fridge with few goodies for breakfast. Loved this place and will stay again when next time in the area”
