“I don’t have enough words to describe just how beautiful this gorgeous bed and breakfast manor really is! Our room was elegantly decorated with antiques throughout and yet it was inviting and comfortable! The bathroom had a large jacuzzi tub as well as a shower! There weren’t many other guests so we checked out the other rooms and all were just as amazing! The breakfasts were just brilliant! We felt completely pampered! I look forward to a return visit! ”
“The front desk staff were very friendly. The room offered bigger space than expectations. The whole experience would be better if there is an available free parking lot.”
“Stayed here a couple of times now. Very nice, well run hotel. The staff is great! My wife became Facebook friends with one woman who works here. They are also very pet friendly.”
“We loved the history of the house itself as well as the section of the town it is located in.
The manager was very informative about the history of the house, which we found interesting.
Staff in general were knowledgeable about places to visit beyond the battle grounds, dinning options and some specifics about touring the National Park.
Breakfast (at additional cost) was delicius ”
“we wanted historic and got it. it was a very hot day, so any respite was good, and any annoyance would have been significant. fortunately, ez and comfortable. these hosts are from Boston, so it has New England laid back intelligence and class. the property itself is interesting. all the rooms looked interesting. the breakfast was maybe too much, though some probably like it that way. i think they could go lighter, though it's an impressive show and they are morning people! if you want to……
“A little outdated, but clean and comfortable. Basic accommodations for a reasonable price. Here's what's special: the motel is literally on Cemetery Hill, a 5-minute walk from the National Cemetery and the High-Water Mark. It's close to everything - you can walk to shopping and family-friendly restaurants. Some rooms have three beds, so it's great for families with kids. Clean outdoor and indoor pools. I come to Gettysburg at least once a year, and I always stay here. ”
“I am so glad we stayed here. It was oerfect. Close to everything and fit right in with the decor of ling ago. We plan to return to Gettysburg and will be staying here again!!!!”
“We really enjoyed the comfort of the room, pool area, convenience to food and shopping, check in and out staff were friendly, nice breakfast area and food options, safe area, and ample parking. Our room overlooked the back of the hotel with grass and trees. Bonus, there is a cute Beta fish above the coffee bar.”
“Super comfy bed and spacious room; easy drive to Gettysburg town and battlefields. Quiet, safe, very pleasant atmosphere. Just husband and I sightseeing but would be a good hotel for larger family/friends gathering.”
