“This place was incredible! Made me very nervous at first because there was no website and no one to call other than through the travel agency (please correct me if I’m wrong)… but the staff was so friendly, always smiling! The bungalows were stunning, spacious and have everything you need. Also, literally in the jungle! Fell asleep to the sound of animals every night and some rain. So peaceful. Also Geckos is AWESOME! Please help their shelter donate necessities and basics for the pups. You can……

“My family and I had a great stay here! JP and his associates welcomed us and made us feel at home. Complimentary breakfast was great and the other meals were delicious. The room itself was great given you are in the jungle, so there was no a/c and typical sugar ants but nothing unexpected. The pool and the views were gorgeous. The hot tub was down while we were there but it wasn’t missed. We took advantage of the Lake Tour and La Tia’s massage services which were both worth the money. We……

“We had a great stay at Valle Escondido. Our room was very clean and the view was great. We got to see a lot of wildlife right by the building we were in because the resort was less busy in the rainy season, and we got lucky with the weather. We really enjoyed our night hike on the trails on the property - only wish it were longer! Overall, a great stay. Food was good although variety is a bit limited in the off season.”
