Great Location! Beautiful Property!

We have never stayed in Wears Valley and could not have be happier with our stay at this beautiful home! The owners communication was excellent and the location was incredible! We were just far enough out of the bigger towns to get away from large amounts of people and close enough to go there when we wanted. The quaint town of Wears Valley was probabaly our favorite place to be and we found ourselves staying around there most of the time. We look forward to booking the same property again in the near future!

Wonderful Mountain Home

We had an absolutely wonderful time in this superb home with a great view of the surrounding mountains. The home was extremely well maintained with exceptional attention to housekeeping details and beautifully appointed to allow for the best possible experience. Property manager provided everything we needed and communicated very well with us during our stay. We highly recommend this outstanding VRBO for anyone looking for a great place to vacation in the area.

Great place!!!!

We go to the area 3 to 4 times a year. This was one of our absolute favorite places. We really enjoyed the layout and cleanliness of the cabin. The location was also great with amazing views without the 20 minute trip on the narrow roads to get to some. We will definitely be looking at this cabin again in the future!!!

Terrific Find!

We thoroughly enjoyed Eagles Vista. Layne and Jenni were very easy to work with from booking, check-in to checkout. Helpful instructions on lighting, remotes, and procedures. Very cool electronic guidebook provided with many helpful details on the home AND Townsend / Smokey’s. Restaurants, grocery, gas station, shops 10 minutes away. EASY access to Smokey’s / trails. The house feels like a home. Is very well constructed and nicely furnished. Large open kitchen / dining room / great room. House faces directly East / West = sunrise over the mountains in the morning and beautiful direct view of sunsets over the mountains in the evening. Upper and lower decks face west, very nicely furnished / did not use hot tub but it looked nice. Many MANY nice “touches”. Plenty of toiletries and bath towels in all 3 bathrooms. All bedrooms and upstairs great room have modern TV’s and electronic “fireplaces” for both aesthetics and heat if needed. A few reviews expressed “privacy” concerns over upper and lower level dual purpose bathrooms accessed by common area and adjoining bedroom. Bedroom access is via a designer “barn door”; however, mounting design leaves a 2 inches gap between door and wall = bathroom is not / does not feel private especially if someone is in the bedroom. We love the house and plan on returning with friends, but will assign / use bathrooms with discretion in mind. All in all, a wonderful retreat and will be back.

The perfect get away place!

Modern Rustic Property in a Great Location

Very Modern Yet Rustic Property in a Great Location.Comfortable Furniture , New Appliances , Techie Entertainment system , Great Pool table. Only one minor issue (could be just me) is that the Barn doors in the Rest rooms were inconvenient , Not enough privacy.

Exceeding Expectations!

This cabin exceeded our expectations! It had everything we needed and then some. This was the perfect home base for all of our vacation adventures. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg, but not too far for the times we wanted to drive in. The road to the cabin was easier to navigate than we anticipated. We were hoping to see a bear at some point during our stay and boy, did we!!! We saw a few. Just out and about on the road in the middle of the day. Even saw one while taking out the trash! The owners were very responsive and very helpful. This was our first time staying in a cabin in the Smokey Mountains and we could not have asked for a better experience or place to stay. I highly recommend Freedom Escapes. We will be back!

Beautiful and quiet location

Eagles nest was perfect for our family. The property is located in a quiet/secluded areas but also close to several stores and restaurants that we enjoyed. It’s about a 30 minute drive to pigeon forge and/or Gatlinburg which was perfect for us. The drive to either of those is a beautiful drive. The best part of staying at eagles nest is that it’s not in the middle of the crowds and traffic that you’ll experience in Gatlinburg or pigeon forge so you get to experience the mountains as they should be experienced without the hustle and bustle of the city. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Home and Stunning Views!!

Wow, this cabin is gorgeous!! Beautifully decorated inside and the two balconies were heavenly to relax on after a fun day of adventure...whether you wanted to relax in the hot tub or just take in the views upstairs! The kitchen is beautiful, the beds are comfortable to the point you almost don’t want to get up for your next day of fun, the bathrooms are beautiful too!! I know our families are hoping to come back to the Smoky Mountains and would LOVE to stay here again!!! Thank you Lanye, Jenni, and Troy for your hospitality!!
