“My college son’s baseball conference tournament was down here. We brought my parents along and it was nice to spread out instead of being in a hotel room. Price was great, home was clean with plenty of amenities (toilet paper, soaps, shampoos, paper towels, and coffee)!! Darling charm to this historic home!”

“Can't say enough good things about this place, the house was clean and well stocked. Had everything we needed, and was close to Highlandville. Only comment I would make is that it needs blackout curtains in the bedrooms. Very bright in the master bedroom too early in the morning.”

The home is still working out some kinks of a new rental but the owner was very responsive and kind. We had a pleasant stay and hope more families can enjoy this home for their future stays.”

“A very nice home in a lovely little town! Cons: very slick tub in upstairs bathroom and stairs required to access all levels.. Pros: quite clean and comfortable, well-equipped with amenities like coffee pods and extra toiletries, super nice porch overlooking wooded creek. I would definitely stay in this house in Marshfield again! Oh, and the Mexican restaurant is awesome!”

“Master bedroom is very spacious and comfortable beds in all rooms. This is a plus for us in any vrbo place. Cozy dining area and kitchen. When we visit the area again, this will be at the top of the list as a place to stay. It's conveniently located off I-60 for quick trip to Springfield.”

“We had a wonderful stay. The host was amazing and very easy to work with. VRBO failed to send our entrance code but he sent it to us. He communicated via email several times to be sure all was working for us. The house is very comfortable and clean. The mounts are beautiful but the bobcat did scare my 5 year old grandson the first time he saw it! We would definitely stay here again!”

“We were on our way to NE Arkansas for an Eclipse viewing. I had originally booked a chain hotel. And then I found this little slice of heaven. Who wants a chain hotel experience when this is the same price?? Everything was just perfect. All the details were appreciated! Highly recommend. Do need to be able to maneuver steps to the loft. I'm one week out from knee replacement and managed it.”
