“My family joined me for a wonderful trip to Brightstone. We fell in love. Our hosts were phenomenal and so helpful. Any questions we had were answered quickly and they are very helpful. The house contained everything we needed. The photos of the listing are accurate but photos do not do justice to the setting. The beautiful lake is amazing. The hiking trails were fun for the grandkids and we saw wild turkeys and other critters. We are planning a return trip next summer and cannot wait……

“We were looking for a convenient place to stay as we traveled the northeast area of Indiana. This home offered a cozy sitting area to relax and chat as well as comfy beds for a cozy night sleep. It is so close to 231 that you can see it. We were thrilled that we did not hear it…this made it a very convenient stop for our road trip! ”

“We chose this property because of it's location between Indianapolis and Chicago, as half our group was coming from each city. The house and outdoor area met every expectation for our weekend together. Michel was incredibly responsive and asked very little of us as guests. We rarely left the house, but when we did, downtown DeMotte had a great diner (Steve's Grill) and really nice grocery store. Very likely our group will try to make this our annual meet up location.”

“The cabin was so nice. Comfy bed. Had all we needed. Plenty of places to go for a walk. The fishing was great. Host was super nice. Easy and quick to respond to my questions. We recommend this to anyone needing a place in the area and will return and so will other members of our family. Has a nice pavilion area with a grill so if you were considering a family get together it would be great to rent several of the cabins and spend time with each other. ”

“It was a great stay. The few problems we had were taken care of promptly. Communication was responded to quickly. My only complaint would be that since the home is older, it has a septic tank and well water, which made the water smell like rotten eggs. The owner came and ran the water and most if the smell dissipated. The beds were very comfortable and had a lot of charging ports for phones. I would definitely stay there again.”

“This one-bedroom attic apartment is cute and efficient. It was sufficient for my needs. Due to the age of the original home that houses four (4) residential units, it is a little loud in its mechanics, structure, and location. The people were friendly and helpful. It is closely located to the Crown Point Square which offers multiple shopping and gastro-pub options within the Historic Downtown area. The property manager was pleasant enough and prompt in his communications.”
