「I made this booking at the very last minute. The room was lovely and is ideal for accessing Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway as well as the wineries in Nelson County. Bed was comfy, bathroom good, and had a microwave and fridge. There is no on site staff, which would not have been a problem except I booked very very last minute. 「Check-in was relatively easy and un-complicated, even though we arrived after hours. The property manager, Marilyn, was friendly and helpful on the phone and in person. There wasn't really any information in the room about what was available nearby or even the fact that there is an ice machine on site and no ice bucket is provided, so we went our whole stay without ice because we didn't know.
