The setting in the heart of Chianti is picture-perfect, surrounded by rolling vineyards and peaceful countryside views. The sunsets here were absolutely stunning, painting the hills in warm golden light. One of my favorite parts was ending each day with a relaxing bath in the beautiful tub—it added such a special touch to the stay. 「A wonderful overnight stay at this historical and traditional building, close to the heart of Siena. Very quiet, with a wonderful view over the Tuscan countryside from our room...coffee-making facilities and a fridge with cold water (essential in this current heatwave)...a good choice of breakfast options, all served by Valentina, who was the perfect host. She took time to chat with us about the traditions of Siena, and could not have been more helpful...we hope to return one day soon.」

「The room was clean and comfortable. We were staying on the top floor, and it was quiet. I like the antique style of the hotel rooms and common areas very much, through which you can have a glimpse on what the old Italian style villa looks like. 「Our host Roberto was superb, always have a smile on his face and ready to help. He showed me how to find a free parking area when we visited Sienna which was just a 15 mins drive. The place was great and we got a room facing the swimming pool and open greenfield. The breakfast was included and was good. Our toilet however got a slight problem on the first day we arrived as the flushing water kept flowing. It was handled quickly after we told the house keeper. An overall very good stay. 」

「Our room in an old Palazzo had original frescos on the ceiling, a small balcony overlooking the city wall and surrounding countryside, and comfortable furniture and bed. The location is quite close to the Campo (central plaza in Siena) and we were made to feel very welcome. Check-in instructions were sent to us proactively and suggestions for restaurants and sights were also sent. I'm really glad we chose to stay here!」
