This is a very cozy space and we felt like we were staying at the home of a beloved relative. We requested some accommodations and recommendations and Carmen was able to provide everything requested! 「We really enjoyed our stay. Pedro was such a charming host and carried our very heavy bag up to the apartment. The location is perfect, the beds were comfortable, the temperature was nice and cool during some very hot days in Madrid, and there was plenty of space for us to enjoy family time. We did not mind the four flights of stairs, but we walk and hike regularly. It was also easy to catch a taxi out front. We really enjoyed looking down at all the action from the balcony. 「Great location in Madrid, a few steps from a subway station. Beautifully decorated apartment, with lovely artwork pieces including images of swirling Dervishes, tapestries, vases… A selection of great books from James Baldwin to Amin Maalouf, art books on Madrid architecture, Goya’s paintings… very comfortable bedroom, and so on. If you add the nicest host ever, what else can you ask for? A pure delight! Thanks for everything! 🙂」

「Seven of our family members stayed 8 nights. The location was perfect for a quick walk to grocery store, bakery (every day!) and a variety of restaurants. We walked to the Royal Palace, Cathedral, Grand Via, Plaza Mayor and the World’s Oldest Restaurant Sobrino de Botin (Guinness World Records). A 20 minute Uber ride took us to the train for a 40 minute ride to a day in Toledo. We all were very happy to return to “our apartment” to rest for dinner and evening strolls. 「Situation appartement idéale pour connaître Madrid 」

「Lo recomiendo por servicios, limpieza, trato del anfitrión y comodidad. En el dormitorio la cama doble es amplia y muy cómoda y en la zona de estar el sofá-cama también es amplio y muy cómodo. Cerca del centro (andando 15 minutos) y al mismo tiempo lejos del bullicio que supone el centro.」

「Hemos estado 2 días y gracias a la buena ubicación del apartamento hemos visitado todo lo que nos interesaba, desplazando nos o en Metro (a 3 minutos a pie) o directamente caminando, hay unos muy buenos restaurantes en el barrio. En pleno centro pero tranquilo, un barrio con mucho encanto, con bares, restaurantes, supermercados, todo a 2 pasos. El apartamento es acogedor y bien equipado y Bárbara muy amable y servicial. Volveremos seguro!」

"Hotel Regina in Madrid is in central downtown area. Very convenient for travellers and sightseeing. Lots of restaurants nearby and only 10-15 minutes walk from main shopping streets. It’s also near the Sol square with about 5 mins walk. I would no doubt stay again in this hotel if I visit the capital again."
