Perfect views of the ocean. Wish there was a washer and dryer in the actual unit instead of having to walk to the front of the property but we weren't there long enough to care than much. Elevator broke on our 3rd day there and we were on the 5th floor but was fixed by the end of the day so that was helpful.

Perfect place to stay.

We have been going to Siesta Key for 25 years and have probably stayed at 7 or 8 different condominiums. All of them have been very nice, but this one is without a doubt our favorite. Great location. Great beach. Very friendly people and not too crowded. The sleep sofas were a little uncomfortable to sleep on, but that's ok, as we didn't really go there to sleep. I would highly recommend.

Great location we were able to walk or get a free taxi service very easily for dinners out and enjoyed the beach during the day. It was perfect for getting away from the cold for a few days.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was our first time staying with Island House Beach Resort and it was fantastic! We are already booked for next year! The view from our room was spectacular! It was nice being able to wake up and go for our morning walk, right on the beach! The place was much larger than places we have stayed in at other locations. It was clean and had everything we needed to function for the week, pots and pans, coffee maker, glasses, knives, forks, spoons. We stopped at Publix just up the street before we got there to pick up food for the week. It all worked out well.It was easy to get to the shuttle stop (right in front of the resort) and go to shops and restaurants at Siesta Key Village. We enjoyed the experience and are looking forward to next year’s vacation at Island House Beach Resort. Thank you to the crew at the front desk for answering all of our questions.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our second trip to Island House. There is no beach better than the powdery soft sand at Siesta Key. We walked this beach every day. You can have beach bicycles delivered to your parking area by Siesta bike rental to ride on the beach. We kayaked at Turtle bay in a quiet, peaceful nature preserve. The two person kayak was great. This unit was beautiful as pictured with nice layout, large kitchen with everything we needed and breathtaking views of beach and sunsets right from the living room and sun room on top floor. Comfortable king bed and a pullout sofa bed could be partitioned off behind living room. It’s a quiet area and nice heated pool and rec room there also. You can get free shuttles to other places on the key like Siesta Village and Turtle Beach areas. Our favorite restaurants were Big Water Fish market, geckos sports bar just across Old Stickney bridge by Best Western with great food, Turtle beach grill was nice outdoor lunch spot and The Hub in the village was great as well. Off the Key, Walt’s fish market and Der Dutchman for home cooked Amish food. Millie’s was just up Clark st and has wonderful breakfast menu. Publix grocery store was just across the bridge also. Crescent Beach grocery had a nice deli and make sandwiches to order.

The same issues with the Unit from the prior year existed. Closet door broken and same furniture from 2013 renovation now run down. Would not rent this unit again.

Despite a few "scars" remaining from Ian, the Island house property was in great shape and we experienced a seamless stay. The weather was great so we could enjoy the beautiful view from our dinning area and the sun and sunsets at our leisure. The local restaurants were great and uncrowded- especially enjoyed Sardinia a hidden gem

Three weeks after Hurricane Ian hit and we were afraid that things would be out of sorts but there was only a minor parking inconvenience. The apartment was outstanding and had great views. The only down side was that the cookware in the apartment was below average, but that could be a result of many things and did not detract from us enjoying our stay.

Plenty of room for us two and it had a bonus room in case we had other guests. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful Condo on the beach!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Reservation, check in and out was really easy and organized. The condo is perfectly clean with an absolutely breathtaking view. The kitchen is well equipped, master bed room very comfortable bed and the rest of the place is wellmaintained and nice decor. Where the sofa bed is located to be able to convert the space in another room is great but it would have been nice to have a real mattress to be able to sleep! We requested an extra padding or something to help our son sleep to the office but we didn’t get any positive answer, so we ended up buying a foam mattress, which we left it at the condo to help for future guests. For light sleepers, the air conditioner from the condo below us was really loud, making difficult to sleep (it could be the way the buildings are build and the way each condo is located, making this noise in all of them?). Unfortunately the beach wasn’t as beautiful as always, due to the “Red Tide” making it impossible to get in the water and enjoy the beach. We would for sure recommend this place and will be back for next holiday.

10th Anniversary Get Away

We loved this Condo on Siesta Key and loved Siesta Key. We will be staying here again. It was the perfect location for us. It was perfectly decorated and the bed and furniture were very comfortable considering it is a rental. The view of the ocean and beach having breakfast in the morning was so relaxing. The sunsets were beautiful but my favorite was the soft, sugar sand. I can't wait to return.
