“It is situated in an adorable little town. The room was nice and the bathroom awesome. There was no tv in the room, which was a little different. We could not figure out how to work the thermostat. Two "issues" that we had: 1. The second night the bar was very loud and we were the first room from the bar. There were also doors slamming everywhere. 2. It was advertised as getting a bottle of wine for each night stayed there. This we had to ask for and then they needed to verify.”

“We stayed in the back room with the kitchen. Great space. Everything we needed. The restaurant downstairs is great. Only issue was when the staff dumped their trash. Loud.”

“Easy check in. Great communication. Clean room. Be prepared to walk upstairs. Rooms are on 2nd floor. decor is older but clean and comfy. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking items. Coffee and ice cream shop down stairs. Owners run these shops too. Super friendly. The soaking pools are downstairs...Wonderful after a day exploring the mountains. Town is very walkable. Lots of shops, restaurants and a small grocery store with all the basics we needed. Would definitely stay……

“The owners were super nice and the building had tons of character. I had to take away stars because the primary reasons I booked at this location was that the property information listed breakfast being included and laundry facilities as a convenience. The owner said they haven't provided breakfast in quite a long time and the laundry facility was a laundromat across the street.”

“Matt was pleasant ind helpful, sharing his knowledge of local hikes and history and accommodating our early breakfast wishes. I also liked the yard and Great American Songbook music that played softly in the common area.”

“One heater in the two adjoining rooms we rented. Didn’t work … management didn’t think it was important.”

“We expected a small room, but it really left a lot to be desired considering it was “recently renovated”. It had a nice paint scheme on the walls, a nice shower head and very warm water. Unfortunately there was a very strong cleaning product smell which lingered for hours, even with the window open. There was no lock on the common entrance door - anyone could come in and ‘wander’ the house. Two of the GFCI outlets didn’t function so there were almost no outlets to use. The TV, microwave, and……

“Great place to stay, certain rooms have no bathroom and have to share a space down the hall. I was surprised by this but I should have read the description better! It is a beautiful historic property with great beds and lots of peace.”

“The room was small, but it was very well kept. We moved to another hotel that offered breakfast, but it was beautiful. Thank you.”

“We have now stayed here twice! We love the location, the staff, and the rooms. However this time I was disappointed that the room smelled of stale cigarettes! We kept the windows open and that helped! New cart would be amazing to help with this!”

“Although the room was clean and location was excellent..there are a few issues. No AC, which I knew. The entire property could use a face-lift, it's older. The internet connection was pretty much non existent. Breakfast was OK. Coffee, yougart, oatmeal, sausage. There were other items which are not what I like, but other folks might find acceptable.”
