We had two days in Simgleton for a family event and found staying at the Mid City Motor Inn to be really convenient. Walked to local eateries and enjoyed our visit. The Motor Inn was very clean and off street parking outside our room was useful. The gardens around the Motor Inn are lovely (I must say I took a couple of tiny cuttings, reception was closed so I couldn’t ask) and the place is well presented.

Good location and value for money

Nice Motel, right in the heart of town. Nice clean - good fittings. Nice pool. Was a little noisy due to thin walls and people outside but comfortable for the most part.

The shower was old style with high flow. Very good compared to modern ones that basically drip water. Room was good. Only thing I didn't like was bar fridge noise turning itself on and off at night - would be better behind a solid cupboard door.

Easy check in and in a great position. Very clean rooms and a great restaurant on site that will deliver to your room if needed although it is a 30 second walk to pick up. Can be busy traffic wise at certain times to drive out but overall not really a problem. I found the parking spaces a bit squeezy but they only have so much space so understandable. Would stay here again.

My friend and I booked a twin share room, Room no 11, for a 2 night stay in October while working over the weekend in Singleton. The room was clean, well maintained, light, spacious (not on top of each other), has aircon. The beds were very comfortable, extra blanket is supplied. The receptionist was very helpful with local information plus in moving our room on arrival (we were allocated a double bed room) and calmly sorting out any issues. Overall our stay was restful and enjoyable. Recommended.

Comfortable but dated

Found the room noisy from road traffic as well as adjoining rooms. I am also not a fan of having a shower in a bathtub, along with the shower head being way past its used by date, which is easy to see and shouldn't need a guest telling them so. However the room was spacious, bed was comfortable and clean & tidy

An immaculately clean property. Very obliging and pleasant staff. My only suggestion for improvement would be the provision of some plates, bowls, utensils and a toaster so that guests can make up a quick breakfast. The microwave is great but without the accompanying bowls etc it is of little use other than to possibly heat up take away food which is never an option in my case. Other than this your accommodation provided is excellent. Thank you. Bernadette

The room I booked was advertised as a 2 bedroom suite. The room however was a 1 bedroom with a 2nd bed in the living room. That is not 2 bedrooms in my book. Just because the living room door can be closed doesn't make it a bedroom. The pool was dirty. A chair in our collapsed as soon as I sat on it. Luckily no one was hurt. The property is in good condition otherwise and the location is good. Just don't be misleading with your room descriptions please.
