“Four Mounds is a lovely B&B in a quiet and scenic location. The home is expertly maintained. Staff is available on an as needed basis but otherwise you are left to enjoy this beautiful place on your own.”

“The hosts were great. The coffee was waiting for me at 6 am. The breakfast was delicious! I called it biscuits and gravy but it was more like french tost lol we had some great laughs. I will plan another trip here in the future. Downtown Galena is really neat. We checked out some hiking trails and had a blast. ”

“The Hancock House is a beautiful Victorian Home with a wonderful wrap around porch with a panoramic view of Dubuque. Simon is terrific host.”

“Check in was easy. Staff very helpful. Very old building with alot of charm. Can walk entire downtown area. No frills. Bar/lounge felt like a Frank Sinatra hangout. Fun karaoke. ”

“Great clean unique hotel. Loved all the Irish culture and ambiance. The attached bar, Frank O’Dowds, is a wonderful unique Irish pub. We saw a great band on Friday & Saturday nights. The pub is the same place you go for their continental breakfast; don’t wait too long to eat because breakfast favorites will run out fast. The room are very comfortable and clean. The bathroom toilets could be upgraded to a higher, handicap accessible height. Overall great stay, great staff and servers. Will……
