「Simpson Bay Resort is a great place to stayt, the breakfast buffet is very good, we recommend that you include it in your reservation. The beaches are beautiful, comfortable to swing. The pools are very clean and warm. Overal, we liked it and we would stay here again in our next trip to St. Marteen.」

「Great location, clean large rooms」

「Food was great! A majority of the staff was great! Tried the rooms with Bali beds out front and that was a waste of money. No view and filled with ants. Get a higher room with an ocean view. The beach was useless as it is steep and ground seashells for sand. That said, you cannot beat the view of Simpson Bay. Great island and will be back when they rebuild. I would just stay at a sister property near the airport next time.」

「The slowest WiFi I have ever experienced 」

「Had a great stay for a family of four. We had a 3 bedroom with a balcony ocean view. Our room was clean and loved that it had a washer and dryer. It would have been nice to have housekeeping daily, we did receive it one time due to the length of our stay. Parking was great. The property is conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and nightlife. We ordered poolside the food and drinks were good especially the pizza. Staff was friendly. We loved it and hope to return soon.」

「The hotel is fine- it is safe, etc. But it is just 'mid'. If you are looking for absolute luxury, look elsewhere! I think this is a good option for those who don't want to break the bank, the area it is in though isn't great and a drive to get anywhere.」

「We recently stayed at Sonesta and while the hotel itself is beautiful with amazing views and a great location, our experience was unfortunately very frustrating. Upon check-in, we specifically booked an ocean view room but were initially given Room 101, which had a parking lot/front entrance view instead. After having to make a fuss, we were finally moved to Room 311, which was much better. However, on days 2 and 3, the AC stopped working. On top of that, there was heavy construction going on...
