"The location is not bad.
But the building is old and needs lots of renovations. You can smell stinky sewage in the bathroom when you use the shower or the sink. Cheap appliances in the kitchen. Bedroom door lock was stuck. Found clothes from previous tenants in the closet. There isn’t enough parking. But the staff were nice."

"This is a no frills hotel. I am not sure if it was a language issue or a cultural issue, but none of my requests were met. I asked for a wake up call. It never came. I asked for a taxi to be called, I ended up having to catch one on my own on the street. The hotel is a few blocks from an ATM and super market. Places to eat are a bit further away. Once I was shown how the television worked, it operated fine."

"Was ok but the problem is that most of the swimming pools are only for the Gym members ! Only one small kids pool is open for the guests and the beach which is also open for outsiders! So what are the facilities that the guests can use and they paid for?! And if you want to enter the “ members only” pool you have to pay 35 kd per person per day! in the weekend and 25 kd weekdays!
The rugs are old not clean .
You have to pay for the Valet even if you’re a guest ! And they will park your car...

"Spice is a nice hotel, perfect location, great staff but needs improvement in terms of cleanliness and room comfort. Value for money is good in general so I would recommend it to solo travelers."

"The hotel is located in a beautiful building. Although the hotel is not modern, I found the incredible decoration of the place to be a highlight of my stay. The room was very large and had a fridge, and it was perfect for a quick visit to Kuwait City. The view from the roof is incredible, and I absolutely loved the Persian decor of the lobby and hallways. Would stay again! "

"Great location in a quiet neighborhood. The staff were great and they even gave me a room upgrade. Much appreciated and I will stay here again next time I'm in Kuwait."
"My first visit to Kuwait and I was lucky to stay with the best hotels in town. Professional and friendly staff. Specious nice room, I received a complementary room upgrade. My reservation included a shared airport shuttle, but the hotel was generous and provided a private car. Location is also perfect you can get everywhere conveniently. Thank you. "
