「The cabin is very spacious, very clean and well-appointed. The bed is comfy with lots of warm blankets, the bathroom well stocked with towels and toiletries, and the location is very quiet. We enjoyed our stay tremendously, especially having morning coffee in the Adirondack chair in front of the cabin, listening to the morning birdsong.」

「Our visit to the treehouse was amazing. Our host's provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay. They paid so much attention to every single detail. Even left us robs to use! We did go out to Beak & Skiff and visited a couple of the local waterfalls but couldn't wait to get back to have a drink on the swing by the babbling brook. So pretty at night with everything lit up! Such a relaxing vacation and when it was time for bed the sounds of the owls and brook were like a lullaby! 」

「We stayed here for our wedding weekend with our groomsmen and friends. The property was beautiful and the game room/bar/theater was fun to hang out in. Sitting on the porch in the morning with coffee was relaxing. We were too late in the year but I love that you could use the dock and bring your own boat. 」

「It's a very comfortable house. We had adequate facilities for our large group. It's conveniently located to town and all the other facilities the Finger Lakes has to offer. It helped that we had beautiful weather but it was a great choice to stay. 」

「The property is ideal for small children, lots of room to play outside, the lake is assessable and shallow for a good distance from the shore.The kitchen is well equipped for large family meals.There are interesting places to go and see There are 6 bedrooms and sufficient beds for the listed number of visitors.It is a comfortable, but not fancy property.It fully met our expectations.」

「Great cottage near the southern tip of Otisco lake, it's a little south of the causeway that divides the lake so there are generally calmer waters. We had some problems with bees the first night or two, but once we figured out where they were coming from, the owners were very responsive and got an exterminator out right away. Turns out the buggers were actually in the wall, behind the siding, but they were taken care of. Overall a great place that was just right for 5 of us. One thing to note is...

「Went up for a fishing trip in fall. Fishing was a little tough given low water conditions. But Erica was great gave recommendations of where to eat. Was available by phone for this non tech savvy old guy. Place was great very short walk to lake. Views were awesome. Very accommodating. Everything we were looking for. 」

I would agree with a former commenter that a small microwave on the room would be helpful but lack thereof did not detract from our time. The setting is beautiful and the restaurant on site was also great! An overall wonderful experience and I look forward to staying again hopefully before everyone else finds out about this wonderful place. 」

「Love the old homes with the super high ceilings! They have a lot of class and charm. Everything was in walking distance. Would highly recommend the Balloons restaurant, for their top notch service and food. If you want see the historical sites in town, check the sites online info. Some sites and restaurants have limited availability in the winter months. 」

「This place is an amazing combination of form and function. Very attractive yet still has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. We were here a week and were amazed that this place is even nicer than the listing. The less than perfect part is there are occasional loud urban noises, but most of the time it is quiet. Nonetheless, we hope to stay here every time we are in Syracuse because this place is much better than any hotel we’ve found.」

「Amazing little cottage in the lake! Just as described in the listing. The host was very communicative and responded to questions quickly. The area was calm and peaceful just like we wanted, but any activities weren’t that far away to drive. The boat rental place was just down the road which was also convenient for fishing. Amazing sunset views and the hosts little attention to detail made for a relaxing, stress free stay. Would definitely book again! 」
