We had a wonderful stay in this cozy, spotless Skye cottage. Mairi was a fantastic host—friendly and quick to respond. The beds were super comfortable, and the kitchen spacious and well equipped. Just 9 minutes from Portree, it’s convenient yet perfectly remote for that “end of the world” feeling. Would love to stay here again!

This cottage is an excellent holiday stay for any family. It was extremely comfortable, clean and extraordinarily well equipped. for information, the bathroom is downstairs and third bedroom is very small but we didn’t find this a problem at all Its location is good as well; close to Portree and the main attractions of the Trotternish Peninsula.

Wonderful family holiday

We loved our stay; the cottage was clean and had everything we needed - including many small touches (books, games, drying rack, laundry liquid) that made it easier travelling with kids (8 and 10). Check in was a breeze; the location was fantastic. Perfect location for a family holiday. Would definitely return.

Ein typisches Croft Haus, wunderschön gelegen und total authentisch. Die Küche ist recht neu und modern.Der Rest ist älter, super ausgestattet mit Allem was man braucht und vielen schönen Büchern.Man fühlt sich in die gute heile Welt zurück gesetzt.Das Haus hat eine gute Heizung und ist kuschelig warm .Die Besitzerin und die Dame die sich kümmert sind unglaublich nett.Wir hatten ein Problem und sofort Hilfe...und damit einen wunderschönen gemeinsamen Abend erlebt.Danke für Alles.

Home sweet home

Location impeccablement située, dans un endroit calme à l 'écart de la route, avec une jolie vue, mais assez proche des commerces (en voiture). Très propre, et bien équipée. Literie confortable. Le contact avec Mairi par mail et texto a été très facile. A recommander!

Great home away from home

We were traveling for several weeks around England and Scotland, and this was like a vacation on our vacation from the busy city. Great location on the isle (Portree, hiking, castles) and wonderful neighborhood atmosphere (quiet with cows and sheep across the fence). Wonderful kitchen amenities (full size fridge/freezer, pans, utensils - we cooked a family meal every day). Felt homey; we would definitely stay here again! The only downside is that with sunsets at 10:30pm (June), the smaller room with the skylight didn't have the dark shades of the larger rooms, which our 8 year old found challenging. The other minor surprise is that the tv is netflix capable but requires one's own account.

Sehr angenehmer Aufenthalt

Leider liefen bei Ankunft die Toilette und das Waschbecken nicht ab. Wir haben die Vermieterin kontaktiert und sie hat sofort einen Installateur organisiert, der den Schaden behoben hat. Ansonsten hatten wir eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem Haus.

Haste ye back

This is a very well equipped property with plenty of space in a prime location to explore what skye has too offer. The whole process and communication with mairi is very good. We spent 5 nights in this property and everyone enjoyed it. Well worth a stay again.

Great accommodation

We had a great time in Mairi‘s house. It had everything we needed, the kitchen was well equipped, the beds so comfortable :) It was well located for all the trips we did. We always enjoyed coming back in the evening and sitting on the table and enjoying the views. Thank you for everything!!

Huis ligt op een mooie lokatie vanaf hier zijn alle highlines goed te bezoeken. Cottage voorzien van alle conform en schoon. Absoluut een aanrader ! We hebben hier een geweldige week gehad !

Toller Ausgangspunkt für Isle of Skye
