「Excellent accommodation with an exceptional view. Immediately after booking, Colin, the owner emailed with all the information we needed to make our stay on Skye fabulous. We were greeted on arrival. The pod was meticulously clean and really lovely! Bathroom with shower, microwave, milk in the fridge, tea bags, coffee and sugar. Clean bedding, towels, tea towel, dish cloth, washing up liquid. Crockery in the cupboards. The decking had a table and two chairs and looked over the most spectacular...

The staff at dinner and breakfast were nice and polite and done their job very well. Thank you to all the team who made our stay relaxing. 」

「Location is beautiful, food was very good both breakfast and dinner. Weird spacing in the bathroom...could barely maneuver on the toilet as the shower is so close. The floors are old and creaky as was the bed springs mattress...very bouncy...boing boing boing. Core staff is from Sri Lanka and very much wanting to serve and please. But overall we had a lovely quiet stay. 」

「Proper stay for a night or two. Very friendly welcome at the bar. Room was recently renovated with a good mattress and clean bathroom. Improvement points: Hallway to the rooms smells to smoking. Service at breakfast could be improved, the lady seemed in a bad mood.」

「The hotel is a few minutes walk from Mallaig train station, and the ferry terminal. There are two supermarkets and a few restaurants around the village so that one can easily get refreshments. I was amazed that the hotel is in a delicate traditional wooden decor, and has a relaxing garden terrace. I also enjoyed the window view a lot! The room was clean and it’s reception was excellent. I strongly recommend anyone who plan to visit any Hebrides islands, give the hotel a chance,.」

「The room, though on the small side, was clean and adequately equipped although a dirty cup was left on day 2 and tissues not replaced. The evening meals were tasty, although service was rather chaotic. There did not seem to be sufficient glassware and cutlery to service numbers on site. Breakfast on the second day was dreadful. There was a large group who all turned up together, overwhelming service and causing huge queues. The hotel does not seem to have adequate systems in place to regulate...
