“Very nice area - the creek was a BIG hit with my grandkids- my only suggestion is the temperature in the home- older home so no central air- bedroom unit was not working but we contacted the host and they had a new window unit in within 2 hrs!! I would suggest a window unit in the kitchen- cooking was very hot experience- I think a window unit in the kitchen would also flow into the living room. We were there July 3-7 so very hot temps. Would probably not rent this house again in the hot summer……

“We had a wonderful stay. Everything was as described. The house was perfect for our hiking trip as we “slack pack” the AT. Each day we hiked about 10 miles and came back to relax in the hot tub or drive to nice dinner spots in Lansing & West Jefferson! Thanks Again”

“I stayed at the Secluded Cabin for a halfway stop on a trip back to Ohio from South Carolina. Real close to I-77, which is awesome. The cabin is fantastic. Once inside you wouldn't think you were in a cabin on top of a mountain basically. Little small touches of decor inside and outside with plantings made it all the better. They had everything I needed to cook and grill there, except the food of course. The property outside is well maintined. I saw deer and hummingbirds while sitting on the……
