"There was no mini fridge in the room or spare blankets, even when we asked the front desk. The stay was otherwise pleasant and the room was clean and comfortable. Warmth and the ability to do something with your leftovers after a night out in Atlanta count for something, though"

"The hotel had some un addressed issues with water damage leaking in the ceilings in the lobby (water issues seemed to be an issue in the airport shuttle also). Rooms showed signs of wear with peeling wallpaper and the like. The convenience items aren’t stocked well so make sure you packed well for personal items you may need. I will say though things seemed clean and bedding was done nicely. The beds are actually very comfortable, I don’t sleep well while traveling and I bet I got one of the best nights sleep in a long while. Convenience with proximity to the airport and shuttle service every 30 minutes certainly are perks. There is a restaurant on property but it keeps odd hours in my opinion."

"First I understand that it an older property, which is one of the things I like about it, but it is really showing its age. Several 'repair' spots all through out our room, ceiling over the bed and down the walls. Baseboards are dirty and scuffed. Bathroom toilet was not fixed to the floor, cracked tiles (age) and the bathroom cabinet was chipped and worn across the front. The first impression I had of the room was the smell....it smelled like bug spray...friends said that was better than actually seeing the bugs, but it gave me a headache. Our friends room, was a suite and did not smell, so it was just in our room. Their room was also showing age with the same things in there room, wall repair spots ( need to paint the whole room once you repair a damaged wall), cracked tiles in the bathroom and such. BUT as I said, she is a grand lady and the location was perfect! I will be happy to come back, will just ask for a different room now that I know the smell was just in my room."
