“The pictures don't do the place justice, the location is great and its minutes walk into Borrowash for shops and pubs etc and only a few minutes drive into Derby. The place is quiet and very clean and well maintained, secure and welcoming. Theres only three rooms so its not overly busy and the parking is very secure with a phone controlled gate on entry and exit to the property. “Children loved the river setting and kayaking. Houses were so well equipped. Outdoor seating by the river, maps, books, games and TV Saw kingfishers each day. Super place. Road quite busy, but disturbed our sleep very little. So many positives about the house and area outweighed the road noise.”

“Stunning cottage in the best location. We didn’t have a car so location was key. Within a couple of minutes walk you are in the Chatsworth Estate. The local bus stop is just across the road which is great for using the hop on hop off open top bus in the summer. Also a great Italian restaurant in Baslow. I highly recommend this cottage & will definitely rebook. ”

“What a lovely property! Clean, cozy, and comfortable in a fantastic, quiet location that's a brief walk to all of Bakewell. Very convenient to have a parking spot! Everything I needed for an extended stay was included (nicely stocked kitchen, washer, etc.) and check in/out was very easy. Owner responded quickly to all messages and was lovely to interact with.
