"Terrific property! I was nervous booking it as there were no reviews. The reason why? It had only been open for a week! Communication was excellent from time of booking until we left. "This hotel is one of the finest properties at which I've stayed in the entire world. I've traveled to many countries and experienced some great hotels, but this is my favorite. The location is as ideal as one could imagine. It came under new ownership two years ago and they must have spent tens of millions on the renovation. The hotel is immaculate. Stunningly gorgeous with a view you'll remember for all your days. The rooms are beautiful - white, blue and green with fabulous beds. The bar looks like it is a refreshed version of a bygone era in all its opulence and charm. The food was very good. Every meal is well executed and the staff are at the ready to make sure you have an amazing stay. Superior cocktails and spritzes and a small but impressive wine list filled with local gems. A couple of people to call out in particular include Giancarlo who welcomed us with warmth and a great tour of the property while our room was being readied. He made us feel welcome from the Sergio the maitre d' is a joy to be around and a true professional. He makes the experience better with his charm and kindness. He elevates the staff and is a highlight of any dinner looking out on the sea. The restaurant staff are excellent as is the barman. It is an expensive part of the world, but when you're at the Europa Palace, you feel like you're getting service and an experience that meets or exceeds the price."

"It was our 1st time to Italy and Sorrento. I cant say enough about this hotel and the staff!!! From beginning to end it was wonderful! Theresa was so helpful and accommodating, always checking in on us when she saw us!!! Breakfast was abundant lots of choices! Pool was a bonus with a little bar for drinks and snacks..I only wish we could stay longer if I had know i would have..but we will be back..we stayed for 4 days and we were sad to go.."

"The hotel is not in Sorrento, but they operate a shuttle bus hourly. If you’re looking for town centre location, this is not for you. The hotel is set high above Sorrento and from the public spaces, commands sensational views across the Gulf of Naples, and an amazing view over Sorrento itself and Vesuvius! It’s a hard view to beat! The hotel & rooms are spotlessly clean, the bar and terrace all have amazing views and the swimming pool is lovely, although was almost bath temperature whilst we were there so ideal. We had partial sea view rooms with balcony on 1st floor (224 and 222 which our daughters had). The rooms really need updating as look very dated and the balcony and partial sea view were just not worth the extra money. Also no coffee/tea making facilities which is always a negative for me. However, beds were very comfortable and the rooms have AC. Restaurant was very good, although we ate quite simply (ie pasta!) and the bar was great - hotel prices obviously. Breakfast was excellent. Same dining room as dinner and a lovely space to eat in. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and found the staff to be plentiful and universally excellent, in particular the receptionists. Note on travel: it’s worth taking a taxi or using the hotel airport transfer service. Public transport looks good on paper, but the trains are rammed. We did a trip to Pompeii by train and it was so crowded we got an uber back to the hotel. Costly but money well spent!"
