“I stayed in Anchorage as my launch point to Denali and Seward/Kenai Fjords. It was good to be able to extend my stay and book the female dorm last minute in the days in between my trips. The manager, John, splits his time between the midtown location and downtown, and I found he was the most helpful in booking my transportation and the Kenai Fjords cruise. Overall staff were friendly and keep the place tidy despite how many ppl were staying there. It is a budget hostel and nothing fancy here.……

“This hotel is a scam. It may be under new ownership but they hired to have a really nice website made and spent time removing reviews. If you look up this hotel by address you will find that it is used by the city of Anchorage as a homeless shelter. It still looks like a homeless shelter, we booked this in advance and showed up at 11pm and thought our GPS was wrong so we drove around the block 3 times looking for the place. It's an absolute dump with no signage and people shooting up on the side……

“Ramada hotel will be my top one recommendation. The front desk is very friendly, and love to provide help to travelers. If I had chance to go to Anchorage again. I will choose here to stay.”
