“We upgraded from a cosy room to a superior room. The room itself was lovely, though quite small and the bathroom had a roll top bath. The room was extremely clean and the decor was lovely. However, I would say that there was little space to put any of our things, little surface space in the bedroom and the bathroom. Our room was on the top floor; we were asked before arrival whether we had an problem with stairs, and there were quite a few levels to go up so be aware of this. I do have one……

“The room itself was clean, functional with enough space and good facilities. However we didn't realize the property was a converted house (and our room was upstairs). This didn't jive with the pictures of the chalet bungalows we had seen on the website. Perhaps we didn't pay enough attention when booking, but we felt rather misled by the lovely pictures of the converted back garden and chalet rooms. “Wendy made us feel welcome and at home, at the same time as respecting our privacy. The room has beautiful decor and is very comfortable and well equipped. We would definitely stay again”

“Our room was beautiful with a lovely Juliet balcony over looking the gardens. The room was spotless and the toiletries were super useful. The staff were really helpful, especially at breakfast when I could not decide what to have! We regret not bringing swim/gym wear to use the gum and swimming facilities.”

“The staff were wonderful and cheerful. Restaurant and bar were excellent. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The property is within a five minute walk to the theatres and cathedral. I would definitely stay here again!”
