“We enjoyed our stay here and breakfast was delicious.”

“very good. I like it.”

“The room was clean. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The hills are so serene and beautiful. Great place to go and reset from the busy life.”

“The place is awesome. Great location within reasonable driving distance to all area activities and parks. Super clean, upscale and comfortable. Great hosts, helping you with all local restaurants, activities, et. Amazing breakfast. We loved it and highly recommend. Oleg”

“Historic property with tons of character. We had a group of 5 couples, so each having access to their own bathroom was fabulous. Hanging out on the front porch was a great area to socialize. Highly recommend.”

“When we arrived we thought surely this isn't the place. There were multiple cars and nowhere to park. The garage was open and it was filled with broken appliances. They were spilling out onto the driveway. Nervously, I knocked on the door and a sketchy man answered. The Smell hit us as soon as the door opened. It was horrible! “Great location!”

“Beautiful home - very comfortable.”

Coffee and breakfasts were greatly appreciated and always right at the time promised. All furniture in the common room and outside was very comfortable as was the bed in our room. Thisnis a lovely property. Highly recommend Dakota Dream for anyone traveling to the Custer area!”

“Very clean and beautiful! We did not realize that the bedroom and kitchen were not directly connected but it worked out just fine. Was very nice to park in the garage. Excellent communication from the host! We had a great time!”

“I tried calling owner several times throughout day we were arriving to tell them we were going to be close to end of check in time. No one answered and voice mail box was full so couldn’t leave a message. I messaged the owner thru Expedia as well with no response. We got there and lights were on in the house and in back. I went to front door and thankfully looked down after climbing porch steps as all the porch boards were removed and it was dark so could have been a disaster. The Hitching Horse……

“Tremendous work done by owner to keep the Victorian detail authentic in ways possible to do so. I would put in a bar in the Gold Suite to help people get in and out of the tub/shower.”
