“everything runs well.we d back again.”

“Wonderful stay. Unique loved it!”

“This is an excellent property. The rooms match the description. The biggest bonuses from this party include: 1. Lots of additional items that make the stay more comfortable. Grill with plenty of gas, well stocked kitchen so you can actually cook, extra camp chairs, etc. 2. Fire pit for smores 3. Large yard that allows you to throw a frisbee and let the kids runThe checkin was easy with good check in and check out instructions. We really enjoyed the property.”

“Nice place!”

“Pet friendly was important to us. Host was very helpful! Minor maintenance like exterior paint would improve the first impression.”

“Great location near canyon lake park. Nice, safe neighborhood. Comfy bed and great porch/ deck for morning coffee. Thank you!”

“We loved our stay! It was our 2nd time here and we loved it as much as the last. Views are unmatched.”

“Clean & comfortable. Wonderful location in a beautiful town”

“Needs some updating.”

“Within walking distance to all the downtown activities and amenities. Well kept , I would stay again.”

“The listing details weren’t the most accurate, it stated “bedrooms” but the two beds upstairs aren’t closed off, it’s two beds in an open loft area. The listing also talked about the “refreshing showers” and there is only one. The outdoor space was also disappointing, the fire pit is the tiniest cheap pit and for being the 4th of July weekend the weeds/grass around the cabin were ankle high if not taller. The cabin didn’t seem very clean, all the dishes and utensils are filthy, and poorly……

“Nice place”

“Overall an excellent, cozy place to stay! Upon arrival we were very pleased with how clean the place was. Normally when we stay at a place the first thing we feel we have to do is clean. Not this place, it was notably clean. The location was perfect. Tucked in next to a nice park and just a quick walk across the footbridge and you have access to most everything you want without having to jump in a vehicle. We loved exploring Custer and trying the variety of restaurants. We found the cottage……

“The house was very clean and had everything you could need when traveling with your family.”

“On our 8 day trip this cabin was, by far, the best place we stayed. It really is very remote, so be sure you are ok with that. I believe it was something close to 12 miles back to Custer and most of that is dirt/gravel roads. For us, this was perfect. Super peaceful, beautiful property. Even horses on the property that were friendly. The owners were super friendly and helpful and great to chat with. We will absolutely stay here again in the future. We are already looking forward to it.”

“Unfortunately, our stay fell well below basic cleanliness and sanitation standards. Upon arrival, we found numerous mouse droppings on the kitchen counter, spider webs, and other cleanliness issues. We also found wood debris on the counter and a soaking wet bath towel that raised concerns about whether the towels had been properly laundered. We cleaned the mouse droppings ourselves because we needed a sanitary surface for food preparation. Although the property manager offered to send someone……

“Floor had to be swept immediately when we entered. There were glasses from the previous occupants that still had liquids in them by the sink. The beds were not made and we don't believe the were cleaned either. Mold all over the shower curtains and in the shower itself. Do. Not. Rent.”
