The proximity to the beach was awesome! Being able to walk back to the house and get into that small dipping pool was also wonderful. The house stayed nice and cool, and had plenty of bedrooms for Family. The house was a little rundown on the inside with water leaks, Little bit of a funky smell, and peeling paint. Which is why I gave it four stars instead of five. But overall it was a good stay, and we felt safe in the neighborhood.

Good location but needed a few things

It felt like they were not quite ready for renters - there were issues we communicated with the main office and they passed them along to local team, the good thing is they did respond and fixed things like leaking toilet and wobbly ceiling fan, and need for more hangers and toilet paper.The outside areas could be hosed down and chairs cleaned before someone comes. There were white specs on the carpeting upstairs. The kitchen was well stocked. The location is perfect, close to beach and grocery store and many restaurants. We did not need to rent a car.

House was very nice and we loved having a private pool. House was clean but the bunk bed was very unsafe. The top bunk was only held up by one board in the middle. The pool was also pretty murky after a few days. I don’t think the filter worked at all. Contacted the host but nothing ever happened.

Family getaway

It was a beautiful weekend but the only downfall for us especially having 3 grandchildren ranging from age 5-10 who were most excited about grandma and grandpa getting a beach house, was the pool not in service until the following day. The plan was to get as much use of the swimming pool before we headed home. Other than that, it is a beautiful property.

very nice, spacious. Satellite system did not work for the entire visit. Disappointing because kids wanted to watch in the evenings-weather was cold and drizzle...Adults wanted to watch a fight.......Property manager said he contacted Satellite Co., but no one ever showed up

Nice place but...

The upstairs a/c was not working and we could barely sleep at night. They sent an a/c guy but he couldn't fix it. The pool was nasty because the pump was not working. One of the toilets was broken.

PICTURE perfect but....

Overall the stay was good. The home needs owner maintenance. There was a huge hornet nest right above the pool. The chairs on both balconies were outdated and unfunctional. The washer machine door was broken and we couldn’t get our clothes and towels out. Things were falling and coming apart just by glance. Nothing that can’t be fixed. I highly suggest the owner comes to the property at least once a year to assess improvements and invest back into the home.

Christmas vacation

The home was in a great location. It was in a quiet neighborhood and short walking distance to the beach. The grocery store was also within walking distance. We were able to walk around most of the island from the house. The house was clean and comfortable. We had 6 adults and had plenty of room.

Perfect location

My family loved the house and thought it was so beautiful. The only ding was the hot pool. We were able to walk to the beach and grocery store. Major attractions were very close by. Definitely would stay here again.

Great Location!

The house was very spacious. I really liked the large dining table and the extra seating with the bar stools. We enjoyed the private pool. Great location! Walking distance to beach and to grocery store. The outside shower is an added benefit when coming back from the beach.

Great stay!

We had a great time here. We didn't want to leave. The house has a few cosmetic issues like paint chips but is otherwise a great place. Alot of space to hold your stuff. Perfect location! Walking distance to a grocery store, the beach, many souvenirs shops, lots of activities and bars and restaurants. The pool is kinda small but the kids loved it. We loved staying here and if we go back to south padre we will definitely look to book this home!
