「This cabin and guest house was just right for our group of 4. We had one couple and a father with adult son. It was easy to find and located where starry skies and northern lights were amazing. It was clean with basic amenities and the owners were easy to communicate with. Hot tub was clean. Note that the twin beds are in a loft with very low ceiling. Perfect for kids but slightly tight for adults. Nearest store is in Selfoss so plan accordingly. 」

「A great home base for my family’s trip to Iceland, this property had great proximity to the Golden Circle. We saw a number of sites, did some fantastic hikes, visited the Secret Lagoon, and it was nice to have a home base to come back to each evening. We ate out a good bit, but also made coffee/breakfast at the home each morning and cooked a few other meals at the cabin as well. Everyone slept well, and we enjoyed the property immensely. 「Es war ein atemberaubender Aufenthalt.. dass ganze cottage ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet.. die Schwestern waren immer erreichbar und hatten viele Tipps und Ratschläge.. vom cottage aus kann man alle Sehenswürdigkeiten im golden Circle , im Süden bis nach Keflavik und Reykjavik besuchen.. die Küche hat alles geboten so dass kochen und backen entspannt möglich war.. wir würden jederzeit wieder dieses Haus buchen」

「Top tier spot. Clean, warm in the winter, very responsive owners. Plenty of local stuff to do nearby like waterfall walks, Caves of Hella, wool market, and a cute cafe. A great middle point for exploring golden circle and south coast. 」

「Incredible location, new, clean and comfortable place to stay. The host was great at communicating. We had problems getting the gate opener but eventually were able to get in. The only improvement would be to have more towels available. We will definitely stay here again. 」
