“Excellent location within walking distance of the mall/stores in Cape May and right on the beach. The layout of the rooms is great for larger families or multiple families travelling together since there are separate bedrooms, multiple baths and a full kitchen. Friendly and accommodating staff. Superior beds and linens. They make you feel special. We stay here often and will continue to do so.”

“My wife and I enjoyed our mini-vacation anniversary getaway at The Surf! Although it was self-service, they were available by phone to resend my code. We definitely would stay again, and if I had to make one suggestion, it would be a stronger WiFi because we were not able to watch tv without frequent buffering. Other than that, we definitely enjoyed ourselves.”

It was just enough space + glad to have use of a washer + dryer after having a 3 +:4 year old out + about seeing the sites at the lighthouse, diamond beach + Wildwood boardwalk. We were visiting to attend the Coast Guard Festival on Saturday + had a fun time there all afternoon despite the rain showers...cute cottage in a quiet location - until the 3 + 4 year old arrived..”

We had some major concerns that we expressed to the property owner and have been noted in previous reviews. Communication was open before and after our stay but not during. “We needed a place to stay near the Jersey Shore for a few days and the Lily Pad appealed to us because of the large fenced yard. Getting into the cottage couldn’t have been easier and Paul was over within minutes getting an extra air conditioner set up (he had one going in the front room for us, but the temperature had risen unexpectedly). Our dogs used the yard quite a bit, especially our puppy. He loves to run but can’t go to dog parks because he doesn’t have the best manners, so he was in……

“Hotel was clean and modern. Had an issue with lack of a cook top in the room, as was shown in the picture, and confirmed with concierge the day before check in. Notified front desk and asked for a room change for one with a cook top but was not accommodated. Otherwise, pleasant stay. Hotel room had lots of storage and space and was a perfect location over the pool.”
