"The staff was friendly. The room was clean. The breakfast was good. The pool and hot tub was great for the kids. The lake views were great. The park bench across the street from the hotel has excellent views. There is no beach access from the park bench area. We reserved a room with a kids bunk bed which the kids loved! Their A/C worked great! The main room A/C was not as good. The kids room had a TV. There was not a video game system in the room that was mentioned. The hotel was in the middle of renovations so it will look very nice when it is finished. But beware of the dumpsters because there were nails outside the dumpsters."

"What a wonderful surprise! The cottage was adorable, well appointed, clean and comfortable.The landscaping was amazing and wish we could have stayed longer.Communication with the owner was easy, he is very thorough and thoughtful!Thanks for sharing this beautiful & relaxing space!"

"Room was clean. Beds were very stiff and uncomfortable. Tv remote did not work. Air conditioner worked fine but made loud noises when it was shut off/turn on, which made it hard to sleep. Front desk staff was not at all helpful when I showed that they overcharged me. Said I had to talk to hotels.com about charges because “they don’t change rates when booked from a third party”, which was clearly not true. They tried to say hotels.com didn’t charge taxes but I showed them my confirmation where it included taxes in the final charge. Be aware and check your charges to make sure it matches what you agreed to pay."
