"We had a nice stay for one night and breakfast was nice. Our hostess was very good. The only problem was the area nothing open to get a meal. Very quiet area with not much to do, okay just for overnight. Make sure you have food with you if arriving in the evening especially September."

Garai is a lovely village and has two magnificent restaurants within a 10 minute walk, ideal for the tasting menu with accompanying wines. A little fitness is needed as the walk up to the hotel from the car park is quite strenuous and there are a few flights of stairs if you are in one of the upper rooms. "This is a beautiful property, both the grounds and the room. We were welcomed and shown around upon arrival. They have a wonderful breakfast that is included. There are walking trails close by and one leads into the town. We visited the restaurants and the plaza has the Fuente de los 12 Canos. I would highly recommend this as a getaway; very peaceful."
