Kirsty must be applauded for being so hospitable and very helpful of my queries. She’s really good of what she is doing. One unfortunate incident was during our breakfast. One of the guy with the green watch treated us as if we’re dirt. No manners at all!!! But the rest of our stay was excellent. As the saying goes goes nothings perfect.!

We had a lovely stay at this hotel. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. The gardens were beautiful. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Rufflets was our favorite stay out of five different hotels in the UK. The whole experience was incredible! The staff is so wonderful and welcoming, the bar was cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. My family all agrees that this is the one hotel we want to go back to!

We had a lovely room in the gatehouse which was clean and had everything we needed. You won’t be disappointed with the food. Quality tasty and well prepared and presented. Simply delicious. Very close to the centre of St Andrews but not walking distance. Plenty of car parking at the time we visited. If you are not a golfer try the 18 hole putting course, lots of fun.

It’s a nice traditional hotel with friendly staff. Bedroom felt dated and there was no mini-fridge for the milk but bathroom had been modernised and was much better. Extensive Beautiful gardens in bloom with many flowers so it was very strange none of them had been cut for inside vases on tables - in the arrival lobby there are unattractive tired dried flower arrangements which don’t set the scene well! Nice touch to have morning coffee in warming pots and takeaway cups available in the lobby Very good breakfast. A comfortable stay but not worth £500 a night!

Fantastic hotel

Hotel was lovely. Warm welcome and gate room was excellent. Bed was massive and comfy. Breakfast was also excellent and the grounds of the hotel were lovely for a post breakfast stroll.
